great and usefull,May 15, 2009

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money
"I fish in a northern enviroment and our opening day is April 15th we could still have snow and ice put is still cold. I have used these for two seasons now and love them, they keep the wind off your hands and still have the dexterity to bait hooks or re-tie a line, my hands never get cold even if you get them wet, they act just like a wet suit and they warm up to body temperature if wet.
great buy and lasts, the velcro system for the fingers could be improved but does work."

Not Happy,April 8, 2008
By Paul2323
"The gloves have slits in them to allow you to pull your finger and thumb out to tie knots. This lets the water into your glove and your hands get wet right away"

Keeps My Hands Warm,March 18, 2008
By Ghostfrom Indiana
"Very good quality & I like that I can fold back the thumb & index finger. This is useful when changing lures or tying knots.
The fleece helps keep your hands warm. I've bought neoprene gloves w/o the fleece & I can fish in cold weather for a short time. With these gloves I can fish longer & my hands stay relatively warm.
They are a bit expensive but that's the initial buy. You won't need any other gloves for winter fishing, I've used these when it was 10 degrees outside & my hands were comfortably warm. I don't like the slight thickness though especially when using a baitcaster."

Nice gloves,December 1, 2007
By DECKKERfrom Michigan
"These gloves where almost completely water proof but the only problem I had with them is that the tips of the gloves that lift up are still hard to tie the line with or take a fish off of the hook. Other than that the gloves worked good."

Disappointed,November 24, 2007
By Localfrom NC
"I live in NC. In which I have tried these gloves in 30 degree plus. These gloves do not keep my hands warm at all. I use them for striper fishing and also find the extention over the wrist a problem when trying to use my co-pilot when attached to my wrist. The fingers are to bulky also to push the buttons on my co-pilot remote."

Great at first...,November 7, 2007
By Nealfrom Halfmoon, NY
"These gloves were great at first. Kept my hands nice & warm, able to uncover my fingers when needed to tie lines, all while ice fishing. However, by the end of the season, the main seams were splitting open. Granted, I am rough on things, but I did not abuse them. They just started to fall apart after hard use. I guess, if it really comes down to it, I can't complain a lot, seeing as I got a hardwater season out of them for under $10.00."

Great Gloves BPS Neoprene,August 17, 2007
By Bornagainfishermanfrom Cleveland, Ohio
"Purchased these late 2006 for upcoming fishing season. Starting using them early spring on Cats & larger Pike and these are great. They grab the fish and the fish don't slip out of your hands. They also protect against the Cats sticken you with their fins. Also, I don't recommend you try this one, but I was able to pull a few Pike in by their mouth without any teeth marks to my hand, the largest one being 28". Great gloves, really can be used on any type freshwater fish, but I dont recommend trying to pull in any large Pike or Muskie by the mouth. Have used these for about 9 months now in N & S Ohio, Pa., N.Y., & Ontario Canada and NO problems yet. The only small down side is the velcrow straps really are not needed. If you have the right size for you the Velcrow straps kind of get in the way. This is the only reason 4 out of 5."

"THESE ARE AMAZING GLOVES! they stop any fin from getting to your hands, ONLY if you wear both gloves i did not and a catfish got me in my hand had to go the doctor for treatment. turns out catfish have special spines with venom wich makes your hand go numb and hurt like crazy i would highly recomend BOTH gloves thanks, bass"
