Just what I needed, May 13, 2009

Advantages: High Quality
Disadvantages: some what pricie

"I have to leave my boat at the end of my driveway and covered. This allows me to remove my trolling motor with ease and store in my garage. I can now cover my boat without that large bulge in the cover. Being able to lock the motor is a plus also while traveling to and from the area's I fish and any overnight stays away from home . Had to also buy the adapter plate which added more$$$ but good insurance."

"Even if your motor is permanently mounted, it wouldn't be that hard to steel. I got this for me Edge. I need to buy some different mounting hardware for the puck, but it's not a big deal, just my boat is different. The locking feature is good as a deterent. The capability to remove everything easily is outstanding! This is great if you hunt with your boat and don't need the trolling motor."

"I bought this item and love it. I can keep the motor in the garage, and feel safe. It remounts in seconds and is very solid. I even made a second “Puck” (the part that is bolted to the boat deck) to mount on a second boat. That way I can move the motor from boat to boat. Works great."
