Advantages: Quality, Value for money
"The SILVER/BLUE XRMAG20 has caught several predator fish, but mainly Barracuda. I am inexperienced and troll with 30lb hand-lines(!) along the Curacao coast and have caught fish weighing up to 20lbs, most of which using this lure. I am convinced that in the hands of a more experienced person this lure can even do a lot better."

Northern Pike & Large Walleye Killer!,December 5, 2008

"Traveling to remote locations, where I don't know the water or fishing has taught me to take an assortment of tackle because you never know for sure what will produce fish on a given body of water until you are catching fish.
Our last trip into northern Canada found us facing terrible fishing weather, cold blowing rain. FIshermen were miserable because of the weather and because fish weren't biting the usual lures and presentations. Jigging was good for a few small walleye and nothing seemed to produce northerns. So I went to trolling. Trolling Rapala® X-Rap™ Magnum 30s (and a 20) produced ferocious strikes that would nearly rip the pole-holders from the side of the boat. 27-30" walleye and 35-40" northerns were slamming the lures. I tied ropes on the poles so I didn't have to fear losing them overboard. Seeing my 9-year-old daughter yelling "whoa, whoa, ... WHOA!!!" as a 28" walleye pealed line from her reel was well worth the cost of the trip! Losing my last magnum 30 on a rock-pile disappointed me — and really disappointed my daughter!
Neither the camp owner, nor his guides had been able to put customers on fish that week. The night before we left I told them how to catch fish under these conditions. I got an email from the camp owner a month after we left telling me he had followed my advice (with modifications) for similar results.
I've already bought extra Rapala® X-Rap™ Magnums for next year! THEY WORK!!"

"TROLLED THE REDHEADED ,WHITE BODY AND FIRETIGER IN 30+ FEET WATER FOR GROUPER AND COULD TROLL STRAIGHT . TROLLS TRUE. CAUGHT SEVERAL GROUPER TO 20 LBS ON THESE LURES.
WORKS WELL TO TROLL 2 OF THESE ALONG WITH DEEPER DIVING MANNS STRETCH 30'S . 3 FISH ON AT ONE TIME."
