I am not pleased with these boats,January 24, 2008

"Wrote a review. Bought 2 3-person and 2 6-person. The big one, got caught in the wind, blew up on a rocky shore, the boat popped, maybe 200# in boat. The 2 small ones, one popped when placed on shore, no weight in the boat, small stick; the other, cold weather, the valves broke. Be careful if you buy these boats. The patch takes 12 hrs (?) to set before inflation. I will not trust this boat for isolated locations, as I did. I figured if you can place an outboard motor on them, they would be durable enough to handle small bumps. I was wrong."

"for the money its well worth it. i use it 4-5 times a week. i have the 30lb prowler trolling motor. i use it in swamps,lakes, and rivers. i 've been in white caps with it and its perfect. i used it for a month of muskie fishing and i landed some 40 inch muskie, that was a little tricky at first. the muskie actually pulled me and spun me in circles. lots of people on the river always stop to ask me about my little boat. GREAT BUY."

"I bought 2 XR116GTX. The cushion seat for the front is not comfortable when paddling. Sevylor will not provide any information other than to use it in protected waters. the cheapest for the complete setup (sold separate) runs about $400. If you want to just paddle around the lake/calm water, it'll work. I wouldn't use it for any other use unless Sevylor provides more information. Example: I wouldn't want to be down a river and the boat pops."

"I bought the 11ft boat .It was awesome for the money you can believe it.The only thing I did that was my own choice was a piece of plywood on the floor wrapped in indoor /outdoor so there were no sharp edges and easy on the feet ....I also got to run it in rough water (white caps)with no problem .I am 6'3" 280lbs at one point we had 5 people on the boat with no problem we all sat on the outside tube. it's more comfortable sitting there..... the motor plate needed some work...but the boat was great....."

"had the boat for a while. best inflatable around- 3 people max. With the invent of quick electric pumps to blow these boats up fast- Wish they made a 20 footer like this one- would be awesome. Need to make a hard floor to be placed on bottom."

"this boat is very nice for the mere $129 i paid! i like this boat i powered it with a honda 2hp and i had a blast on lake michigan with three foot swells going @ least 10 nautical miles per hour"
