Great grill/ smoker,March 22, 2008

"ive had my performer grill/smoker for 2 years now and it has performed wonderfully. its a miser on charcoal when smoking at low temperatures. We've smoked well over 80 times in the past 2 yrs and have grilled over 20 times. We've smoked everything from baby backs to beef ribs, pork sholders, briskets, turkeys, and even a ham. This grill will hold at 250 degrees on just 20 charcoals for more than 2 hrs before needing to add just another 20 pre lit ones. The gas ignition system is easy to use also. to set up low temp just close the lower damper almost all the way leaving only a small crack in the bottom and cut the top damper to just past 1/2 . overall the best grill i have owned and its still has all of its original parts too."

"This is one of the best grills i have ever bought. Period. No charcoal lighter taste and you can start cooking on it early. It uses 1/3 the charcoal other grills uses. I am buying another one to give to my neighbor who had a fit over the food i had cooked on it. Baby Back ribs are my wife's favorite."
