This Boom Performs Well, October 31, 2008
By IRISHPETE from INDIANA

"I purchased one of these from BPS a few years back. In fact, mine folds up - not back. I have sprayed acres and acres, food plots, trails, field edges and ditches with mine and it performs flawlessly. I have always gotten an excellent kill on whatever I was spraying. Being an old farm boy, it helps to be able to calibrate your speed and water flow to get proper results, but this boom has yet to prove my calculations wrong. Great product in my opinion."

Boom Sprayer, August 30, 2007

"Although this boom is misrepresented in the Bass Pro catalog. It does not swing "up" it swings "out" to the back. It swings out of the back for a reason. If you are spraying the edge of a field and hit something (tree or post) the arm of the boom will swing back when it hits the item in order not to break it. After you pass the obstruction the boom swings back into place since it has spring tension. When you drive to and from the field a small bungee cord is all that is needed to keep the boom inside the width of the ATV so you will not hit anything while not in use. If you load you’re ATV in the back of your truck using ramps you will need to remove the boom or extend it so it will not hit the ground in its pulled back position while loading. Once loaded you can tie your boom back using the bungee cord. The boom works great."

Swing Away Boom, June 27, 2007

"This boom is misrepresented in the Bass Pro catalog. It does not swing "up" it swings "out" to the back. I've order 2 and they've been that way so I called the manufacturer and they told me they don't even make one like the one Bass Pro is advertising. Bass Pro will give you your money back, however, it is a hassel and a disappointment."
