"I purchased my first handgun in 15 years and was very fearful that my three boys would be too curious and play with the gun. I am not willing to take a chance, so we purchased this gun strong box and it is now securely bolted down to the floor (and also partially into the wall in my case). It took a few minutes and a good ratchet wrench to get the lag bolts in, but nobody will be able to get this thing up without a bunch of work (I plan on it being a permanent addition to the house, even if we move). I have an 8-digit code that is easy to remember and I have the personal protection that we need. So, I would highly recommend this as the safest and most secure option for storing your handguns and ammunition. I also plan on putting valuables in the box."

"Received this safe as a Christmas present. Wanted a safe to keep my handguns secure against burgulars and my son. This safe fits perfectly on a shelf in my closet. I bolted to safe to the wall and the shelf. Keypad is easy to operate even in the dark. Large enough for at least 2 large handguns plus ammo. Great product for the price!!"

Great Strong Box,August 22, 2007

"Purchased one of these yesterday and it's a great product. Plenty of room and well constructed. Comes with all hardware required for basic mounting. Keypad supports passwords of up to 8 digits.
Shelf is removeable which is a pro and con. The pro is you can remove it if needed. The con is that the contacting surface is metal to metal and can rattle while you access the contents. I used some rubber cement to buffer the contact which seems to work fine.
Product comes with 2 thin foam pads to cover the safe bottom and shelf. Also used a little rubber cement to adhere the foam to the metal shelf.
Keypad allows beep to be disabled/enabled which I like. It would be nice if the keypad had a dim backlight but with a little practice it is easy to open in the dark.
Basic mounting hardware included for mounting to a permanent shelf or similar. However best practice is to lag bolt this to a cement slab."

"I love everything about this safe. It is strong, good size, safe, easy to use and most of all I have a great sense of comfort knowing that my kids can not get into it. Great product!!!"

"Quality product at a fair price. Solid design and well built.
Emergency key entry is a welcome feature in case of a forgotten combination. Stack-On has a good reputation and once again they have not let us down.
I'd buy another if it had to be replaced."
