Wildview,May 16, 2008
By Woodsman123
"This camara will not hold up to the elements as well as a Cuddeback. However, it is a 3rd of the price. You will be much happier buying 3 of these then one Cuddeback. The trigger speed is not as good as more expensive model, so if you're not putting it up at a feeder consider yourself warned to expect the back half of the deer as it walks by. Overall a good buy for the money."

Corn Pile Camera!!!,April 18, 2008
By oneshot09from Asheboro, NC
"In my experience with this camera, it is a very good bait pile camera! I do not recommend putting this camera on a deer trail or deer crossing point. The flash reaction is simply not fast enough. The night time pictures are not very clear, but you can make out horns. To me it's still better than paying to have film developed. If anyone would like to see my pictures just send me a e-mail and I will send you a couple of my deer picture folders, taken with this camera."

"All you people who claim that this is a awful camera must not own this one. I do and I believe you can put it up there with stealth cam and moultrie. No the nightime flash doesnt reach 50 feet but set it up within 15 yards of where you believe they are comin through and you will get good photos. Daytime photos are great."

"Item isnt worth a nickell I have one of these and one of the Moultrie 4.0 I spent 40 more on the Moultrie and its money well spent. The wildview pictures are blurry the batteries last no time and the night photos you can barely see. I literally wouldnt spend 5 dollars to buy another one of these."

Hit or miss,October 29, 2007
By pheasantguyfrom Michigan
"For the reviewers that had good experience with this camera, great! Unfortunately my experience has been with the "don't waste your time" group. I got this camera as a Christmas gift and was really looking forward to replacing my old 35mm trailcam. I replaced the old cam with this one in the exact same spot, which was overlooking a mineral lick. A little over a third of the pictures contained deer. The rest were of nothing. If the pictures were taken at night, the majority could only be seen using photoshop software as the flash distance is very short. I then moved it to a well used trail where I had seen many scrapes and rubs. The camera was placed so that anything coming down the trail would trigger the camera. Out of close to 500 pictures, two were of deer. The rest were nice pictures but nothing other than the woods itself. I then took the camera home and placed on a post so that anyone opening my back door would trigger the camera. I found that the majority of the time the camera would not trigger a response. Worse yet, often times that camera would trigger for no reason! Would never buy another."

great product,September 26, 2007
By game slayer
"For the money this camera is great, i dont know what the people who wrote the other reviews are doing wrong but my camera has taken over 2500 pictures on the same set of 4 C batterys. I would recoment it to anyone who wants to scout their property, the one down fall is that the flash at night only has about 12 ft of visibility which has a simple soultion-- put the bait closer to the camera"

very Bad pictures,September 18, 2007
By T.J.
"set this up in front of my house and had 15 pictures the next morning and could only see glowing eyes at 10-20 feet one picture was at 4-5 feet from the camera and could tell it was a deer nothing more . my advise would be to spent the extra 50 and get at least a full megapixel"

Worst purchase ever,September 14, 2007
By Jack
"The camera only allowed me to download pics once. I did not have time to jack around with it so I bought another brand. I am trying to use it again and it erases the pics (runs batteries dead) before I can view pics. This product is junk. I have put brand new batteries in it 4 times. By the time the week is over, they are dead."

you get what you pay for,September 4, 2007
By bowhunter
"I bought this cam after trying a film type camera and being disapointed. if i were to buy another one i would buy this one again, i used it this spring and had hundreds of pictures in a matter of a few days, yes there were a few blanke and over exposed pics but there were far more deer pics than anything, i even had a fox run through in the middle of the night. i have never had any mager problems with my cam and i would have ten of them if i could aford it."

my 1st digital cam,August 30, 2007
By madporider
"with all the discussions over speed of digital cams i was a little leary to spend high dollars for a more expensive camera and tried the wildview knowing that it wasnt going to be the fastest one out there. But what i didnt expect was that this cam was lousy at night. I use this cam on my bear bait and get alot of good pics during the day. And at night if i didnt have photo shop i would not have gotten any image at all but a black screen i am going to return this cam and spend a little more $ for a good one"

"Really depends on your application. The day photo's are better than I expected, the night ones have distortion, but at 20 feet you can still make it out. Likes larger animals that hang around."

MY MISTAKE,August 19, 2007
By shoots a bow
"I've used the film type cameras for 5 years..No problems except having to develope the film.. I was looking for a digital ..So I could download the pictures to my laptop..I mounted this camera 1 foot away , directly beside my film type to test it .. .at one minute intervals , in 3 days it recorded only 19 pictures. my film type recorded 34 pictures.. the next 3 days I placed both cameras 20 feet away from a trail to the foodsource.. the film type took 28 pictures and this one took 6 .. and only when the deer were a bit off center of the trail, closer to the camera ..the range of activation is only about 16 to 18 foot tops.. and it takes a picture about half way down the deer , if they are moving in a fast walk ..you get a picture with no deer in it.. I made a mistake thinking this was a good deal on a camera.."

Waste of money,August 17, 2007
By twodudesinthewoods
"So my sister and I had longed for our very own game camera. As we were browsing a catalog one day, we see this "wildview game camera" to our suprise for only $59.99. We jumped for joy and ordered it right away. So we wait and get our camera in the mail finally. We go into the woods to set up our camera, only to find the strap is only long enough to fit large twigs. So we find a tree small enough, set up our camera and decide to test it out. First I walk in front of the camera....nothing...I run and wave in front of the camera...nothing...then I pick up the darn thing and shake it in front of my face...blind for next few minutes...I remount camera to the small twig and proceed to sprint home. A week goes by and we go back to find that we have several pictures. In all of our excitement we grab the camera so fast that we brake the small twig.......oh well just another tree. We head home and hook up our camera to the PC and await for the pictures to load...out of 11 pictures, 5 were us testing out the camera, 4 were of...well...nothing and 2 were of a cute little squirrel...he really was cute, but besides the point.
But in all honesty, we did have good outcome from this whole "expierence", we got three really neat pictures that we could almost tell whether the deer were dogs or the dogs were deer....we are still contimplating that one. And if anyone steals this camera, his misfortune."
