"I was not very good at judging distance, so my next purchase was to look at rangefinders. My hunting area includes hiking in rough mountainous terrian. To ad in hunting suituation combing bio's and a rangefinder in one made sense. One of the best purchases if EVER made. Excellent optics and a dymite bio's. The only one really considered! With a modest wage I had to save for over a year. Well worth the wait."

better than expected,October 1, 2007

"I searched the internet for reviews of this product prior to purchase. I found two; one by Chuck Hawes(sp) and one by a guy at 6mm benchrest. Both were favorable. They noted the expected best in glass and construction. But what really got my attention was the practical ranging on animals out to 1000yds.
I recently purchased these from BPS for $1999. So far they are one of my few purchases which have over delivered. Tough as a boot, weight manageable, best glass I have ever looked through, and ranging capabilities far beyond anything else out there. I have ranged medium sized trees up to 1081 yds, but only because I couldn't find anything farther away to try. The ranging feature is easy to use in both static and dynamic mode(my words not theirs). The "dynamic" mode lets you get constantly changing distance readings when tracking moving targets.
If you are like me and looking to upgrade both your binoculars and range finder I would recommend nutting up and looking at this unit. Both of those needs have been met in spades for the rest of my hunting and birding life."

Very good,July 14, 2007

"As a PH here in New Zealand I need a clear pair of Bino's along with a quick rangefinder so that I am able to assertain the trophy. I have tried everything and have recently decided to not use a separate rahgefinder. I need not to take my eyes off my cleints trophy and using a separate rangefinder would be a disadvantage... another good lecia product"
