Deadly Bow

Advantages: Durability, Ease of use, Performs well, Quality
"I have had an Excaliber Phoenix Crossbow for two years now and I could not be any more pleased. I have taken two bucks and a wild turkey and I am more than satisfied with it's performance. I advise anyone buying one to get the rope cocking aid as these bows are powerful and it takes some level of strength to cock them. More importantly however, the cocking aid ensures the crossbow is cocked perfectly straight and even every time and that ensures high end accuracy. These are fun to target shoot with and a great crossbow for hunting. I also recommend the excaliber scope and with the right arrows and broadheads you can feel comfortable shooting out to 50 yards. Great Canadian product!!"

Excellent Crossbow & Accurate

"Bought the crossbow this fall at Bass Pro in Independence, Missouri. Took it home, sighted in, and took it to the field. First time out in the woods an 8-point buck came within 30 yards and the bow scored for me. The quality of the crossbow is superb, the customer service (Excalibur) is superb, and the way the crossbow shoots is great. You will not be disappointed in this crossbow."

Excalibur Phoenix Crossbow

By JHale
"This have proven to be an excellent crossboww. I bought the cocking aid which allows me to get the bow cocked (evenly) and at 20 and 30 yds it is right on the money. My 6 year using a rest does as good as me at these distances. I have had this bow now for 2 years and have not had any problems. The only drawback that I have seen is that there is some difference in shooting broadheads versus my field tips, but I have seen this before with other bows."

awesome accuracy

"i ordered this bow when my barnett quite literally fell apart, i heard that excalibur is the best of the best and now i am a beliver, i have to use the same scope on my muzzleloader and crossbow, so i switch it out alot, but sighting it in never takes more than five minutes, with the bow uncocked i slide a wooden dowel under the string and line up my crosshairs, that's it!! i always take a few practice shots just to be sure but this kind of accuracy is unbeliveable!! i shot my first deer with it at forty yards offhand, and i am far from being a marksman"

Deadly, Accurate, SWEEEEEEET

"I purchased this Xbow 2 weeks ago,,,All I can say:: SIMPLE, DEADLY, ACCURATE, HARD HITTING, ... I sighted this bow in @20yds on a rest and it's "dialed" in @50yds. The folks at Excal don't lie about the products they sell. I killed my first Xbow buck 1 week after purchase @40yds. I am sold on the Excalibur line of bows. Do yourself a favor,, go shoot all the other Xbows first and pick the Phoenix up last and shoot it....Then hope the Wife doesn't get jealous due to the new love in your life!!!!!!"

Great Bow

,
September 4, 2007
By Buckshot
"I used to hunt with another brand of bow and could not even compare the two, the shot after shot accuracy of this product is unmatched (learned quite quickly to pull my first shot out of the target after putting the second bolt into the first) It's light weight and small size are a real bonus when hunting in thick cover or in a tight ground blind. As for another review that I read that it was too hard to draw, use the string cocking aid and this won't be a problem...then compare the performance between the two bows, you'll be surprised !"

Favorite hunting toy

"I bought my Excalibur just before bow season last year. I shot it twice in the store and loved it. I got my first kill with it on my second trip out with it. I have shot other crossbows before, but they don't compare. This will be my brand of crossbow for many years to come. It's easy to care for, easy to get through the woods with, and is a dream to shoot."

Bad Crossbow

,
July 27, 2007
By Joe
"I was looking to buy a crossbow at age 13 and i looked to excalibur because rumor was that they are great bows. When i picked it up i was amazed at how light it was, however when i went to cock it, i couldnt get the string all the way back. I figured i was too small so i picked it up a year later at age 14 and 6'1" and i barely got it. Its extremely loud and the sight is kinda cheezy. I bought a horton explorer hd 150 and was extremely satisfied with it. Its the most accurate crossbow i have ever shot."

GREAT BOW!

"This is by far, the best crossbow you will ever own. Not only is it capable of taking down any game animal in North America, its dependable accuracy is what takes it a step above the competition. The simplicity of the recurve design limbs are going to be shooting the same from your first shot, and I dont know if there will ever be a last shot on one of these bows, as their quality of manufacturing is superb! This is a purchase you wont regret wether its for target shooting or hunting. A MUST BUY!"

Excalibur ROCKS!

"This crossbow company and their products are what the rest of the industry should be judged against. They are light, fast and take a beating with no change in effectiveness. Yes the bow and accessories will cost you more money but the simple setup is well worth it. Buy Excalibur and you will be happy forever -- I am!"
