Disadvantages: Durability, fragile, eye on the head was too small and covered in paint
"I purchased the jig heads on line to be used for trout and reds.When they arrived the hook was so small and fragile I doubted if it could be used for even Sun Perch in fresh water. A waste of my money and yours if you buy them."

"Hook and head were ok but the barb to hold the jig on was barely a small bump and does not hold jig in place. It keeps slipping down the hook shank on every cast."

"I've purchased numerous sizes and colors of these jigheads. Overall, they are of very good quality. They have sharp hooks, durable paint, and it takes repeated beatings before the hooks bend. However, the paint does chip when bounced off the rocks and digging around a few times with some heavy duty pliers will bend the hooks. The only other problem I've had is the eyes on the smaller sizes do get plugged up with paint, but BassPro does sell the eye cleaner which I also highly recommend."

"I bought these jigheads for makeing a spinner bait but it took for ever to make it because the jigeye was painted over so many times I spent over an hour fixing them."
