Designed by Ken Onion, The Kershaw Ken Onion Scallion Knife covers all the basics of a quality crafted, high performance folding knife. The Scallion features the patented SpeedSafe torsion bar system and a thumbstud for fast, ambidextrous assisted opening and secure locking. The 2-1/4'' blade is 420HC stainless steel with a 55-57 Rockwell hardness rating. With a Polyamide or anodized aluminum handle for light weight, this compact knife has a closed length of 3-1/2''. Liner lock keeps blade locked out securely and Safety Tip Lock keeps the blade stored safely in the handle. Knife also features a pocket clip to keep the knife easily accessible. Made in USA. Advantages: Durability, Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Value for money
"On my third of this knife, keeping losing them. Can't help but buy another one. Great knife, extremely sharp. 2008 deer season I forgot my buck knife, but had this one on my side. Lucky enough to shoot a deer in PA and used this knife to gut it. Worked great, even went through the pelvis bone, and still sharp afterwards. I have even used it to cut down small trees....2-3 inch....but must have the serrated edge on blade. Awesome Knife!!!!"
