Worth Every Penny,October 17, 2009
By fifteen5pounders13yrsoldfrom Lake Ocala, FLorida
"Most people would think including me that a $5 Pop-R would catch just as much as the Rico. I was sadly mistaken. i used three different Pop-R's for over an hour without a bite. My first cast with the Lightning Shad Rico resulted in a 4-pound fish. I also prefer the Rico more because of its walking capabilities and smooth finish and paint jobs. My friend recently won a local tournament fishing this exact lure. Thank You Lobina for the craftsmanship and quality of your work."

The Absolute Best,October 3, 2008
By NCbassfisherfrom High Point, NC
"This is the best topwater popper on the market, bar none. It has excellent hooks, and the feathered treble hook is a nice touch. The paint jobs are great as well. But most important of all, this lure just flat out catches fish. Try throwing it around isolated cover such as stumps and large boulders in shallow water. It is expensive, but worth every penny and more."

Best on the Market,May 2, 2008
By basspro1965from South Georgia
"This is the absolute best popper out there today, it spits perfectly everytime. I used this lure in a stren series tourney as a non-boater and out caught my"pro" partner who was using a different popper by 4-1....pricey but well worth it!!!"

Greatest Popping Bait Ever,April 19, 2008
By Anonymousfrom Gadsden, AL
"Lobina Lures has got this bait right. I used to have to sand and sand on the other pop "r" style baits to get one to spit right. I can't tell you how many I ruined trying to get them to spit, but straight out of the package this one will spit and walk perfectly. With just a slack line jerk the Rico will spit water and walk side to side enticing the bite. If you love awesome topwater action, and most people do, tie on one of these Ricos and you will see what I'm talking about. Bass go crazy over this one they will jump out of the water and hit it on the way down! It's awesome! I am attaching a picture of a 5 pound spot from Logan Martin Lake that hammered one of my Ricos. The picture isn't great, but you get the point."
