"I bought this for a 7ft dinghy with a trolling motor that I use on a lake. This paddle is lightweight, compact, and extremely durable. The boat hook feature has proved adept at retrieving snagged lures, getting the boat away from submerged trees, and navigating the ship around docks. If you need an auxilliary paddle or oar, you might as well get one you'll use--this is it."

"I bought two of these as a saftey measure to have in my power boat in case the motor ever went out to have as backup. I put them in the ski compartment and they are they if I ever need them. Great because you can telescope them out to match your size or reach over the side of your boat. I would recommend these."
