Every day rod, June 2, 2006
By BassinTom from Southwestern PA

"I have four of the BPS Extreme XPS rods. These rods are nice for everyday uses wether your fishing with live bait or throwing some plastic or hardbaits. The only down side that I have noticed is the end butt cap tends to want to come loose when casting alot with lures. It would also be nice if there was a hook keeper on the rod. The action is good and the strength is great on the Medium rods. I have caught everything from Bass to Catfish and a few Pike with these rods."

one tough rod, October 28, 2008
By piker00099764565

"I got this rod for christmas. I like it alot. I put a reel on it but a month later the whole combo was ran over by a car. The rod was only scratced slightly but the reel was crushed. This is one tough rod."

Extreme Rod, April 28, 2008
By Satisfied from Kansas City, Kansas

"This was a decent rod. I will say I like it more than the bionic blade because it is definately more sensitive. However, after about three months, the guides all started coming loose. I set the hook and the second to last guide fell off. That was disapointing. I would definately recommend spending an extra thirty dollars and getting the pro qualifier."

Great Rod For Power Finesse Fishing, March 29, 2008
By Hawg from Georgia

"I bought the 7 ft. medium action spinning version to use with soft plastics and power finesse tactics . I use light line and dead stick a number of soft plastics such as Zoom Centipede , Lake Fork Tackle Baby Ring Fry , Yum Dingers , etc. near heavy cover and need a sensitive rod with back bone to turn bass out of cover quickly . The XPS Extreme rod fits the bill perfectly and mated with the XPS balance kit it becomes the supreme weapon for sensitivity , feel and stealth presentation of soft plastics . Lastly , for applications which require the best in sensitivity and feel - do yourself a favor and use the XPS Extreme with high end Fluorocarbon line ( Seaguar is a good choice) and then ask yourself if this is not clearly a better rod than you were using before !"

Excellent purchase, March 26, 2008
By BASSFISHINGMASTERMIKEY from sterling heights Michigan

"This Extreme XPS Spinning Rod is simply the best rod that you can get. Paired with a Pflueger President spinning reel, this rod is simply the best. The rod is very sensitive, the guides are very strong, and the overall rod is constructed very well. I own one 7 foot medium-heavy rod and it has worked perfectly for me for the last two years. Since the rod is constructed very well, you never have to worry about it breaking. If this rod ever did break (Which I don't think it will) I would easily buy another one.

Overall this rod is simply the best,
I would recommend it to everyone."

excellent rods. would purchase again, March 19, 2008
By Bassnbandit from northern pennsylvania

"I own 8 extreme rods from 5'6" lite to 7' medium heavy. I use these rods when I travel for tournments, guiding and for fun fishing. They are excellent as far as sensativity, casting, handiling, and overall holding up in all conditions. I still have all of them and use all of them every time I go fishing, and they still look as new as the day I purchased them. Thanks for a great product. Would definately recommend to others, and purchase again."

WOW! What a deal!!!, March 7, 2008
By spudboy from Tracy, CA

"I've been using the trigger model of this rod, and man, is it awesome. I've caught striper and large mouth bass with those rods. They have great feedback and a firm backbone.
I'm looking forward to using the 6'8" medium light fast Woos, as well as the 6'8" medium x-fast I just purchased for drop shotting.
Man...for the sale price of 59.88 makes it all the sweeter of a deal! You should take advantage of the best deal in rods now! You can't beat this deal!"

Best Rods I've ever purchased, March 4, 2008
By kamp9992001 from Columbus, Ohio

"I own 10 of these extreme rods and the are the best I have ever owned. They are tough but they are also very sensitive. I fish alot of tournments and they have never let me down. I have several that are over 6 years old and they are still used everyday on the water. I would reccomend these rods to anyone."

7' M XPS
User submitted photo
"I Got the 7' M rod as a combo with a stradic 4000 for inshore saltwater fishing. This is a good quality rod and is very versitile. I have caught everything from big reds and small tarpon to small largemouth. My only complaint is that this rod is stiff! I would not reccomend this rod for lightweight plugs. For the money, I would go with a Falcon."

Excellent Casting, February 10, 2008
By iGish from Struggleville, GA

"I matched the XPS Extreme rod with a Pflueger Supreme. It is a match made in heaven. This rod has an excellent casting distance and can handle wear and tear. The end butt cap likes too come out after you have been fishing a while though."

BPS Extreme Shines in Saltwater Too, December 25, 2007
By FishinLouisiana

"The BPS Extreme MH 7ft rod is a great rod for both saltwater and freshwater. The sale price is outstanding and the normal price is very good for such high quality graphite. I have caught many one to five pound bass with this rod. In saltwater I have caught many specks and reds. I have caught bull reds up to 30lbs, and this rod held up great. I am amazed at the strength of this rod and feel confident when large fish are on the other end of the line. This rod still performs like I got it three years ago. I highly recommend this rod."

"When a feisty 3 pound Largemouth snapped my rod on the hookset, it instantly became time for a new rod. I had recently bought a BPS Bionic Blade that had really impressed me and was about to reorder when I noticed that they had the Extreme on sale for about 10 bucks more. So, I gave it a go with a Medium 6'6" model I would equip with my homeless Daiwa Regal Xi 2500. I am SO glad I did.
While they both sport the same contoured cork handle (great for long days with the pole in your hand), the same Fuji Concept guides (though, different color) and real seat, the difference in the rod blanks are so worth the extra double-fin.
The enhanced sensitivity along with the improved fish fighting power make for a rod that can't be beaten in this price range. Plus, the casting with this rod is amazing. I'm outcasting my buddy's G Loomis while maintaining incredible accuracy.
Granted, they could have added a hook holder. But, that's not enough to keep this one from getting 5 stars!

UFC Caveman"
