A great starter, January 28, 2007

"I Great starter kayak for regular REC use it is awesome, very stable and a good price, I am tall and a photographer so the foot pegs was a must, the flip down padded seat is great. It is placed to the rear of the opening. Even in heavy salt water marshes with some heavier waves,... it held up very well, When just sitting still it drifts and does not wabble to much stays stable. It gets me in the small spots and at 36 pounds it is easy to carry. A great product. (Note) I am 6 feet tall and I must adjust the pegs all they way down for shooting purposes, If you are much taller than 6 feet make sure you sit in it first, It is a little troublesome for me to get in and out of due to my long legs. But I personally am ok with this. But on a test flip over I can get out of it very quickly."

"If you want a Kayak for a good price I highly reccomend this kayak.
I have a cabin in Laurel springs,nc overlooking the new river, it is a awsome kayak for anything from fishing to class two rapids. Its as steady as can be. Take my advice this is the best. Thanks old town!"

"for the price you get a good kayak this is my first i would recommend this to anyone great for short trips very stable im 6ft 200 lbs the ride was very comfortable went through very shallow water about 4" i hope this was helpful to you ."

Great kayak for the price!, July 13, 2006

"I really love this kayak, it cuts through the water like a hot knife through butter. The half spray skirt with the cupholder and the zippered pouch comes in very handy also the bungee cords are a nice option over the Otter model. I have only used this on a lake and on a slow moving river. I'm looking forward to using it on some class 2's. This kayak is light enough for 1 person to lift. I highly recommend it."
