"I have had the 55lb thrust with the wireless capability for about a year now. It pulls my Ranger Cherokee 160 around extremely well. The battery usage is minimal. I like the wireless especially when I am out of the boat wading."

minn kota 80lb latch door, quick disconnect,August 11, 2006

"Mounted this motor on my new 22 Pathfinder, using the quick disconnect . This 80lb. thrust motor performs better than expected, and the 3x system is a breeze to use. At full speed it powers the boat against the strong currents around the Sebastian Inlet flats with ease. The installation on the bow was fairly easy and quick disconnect lets you remove the motor to store when needed. I use this motor all day and it still, to my surprise, stays strong. I think it is well suited to the Pathfinder I have."
