"I purchased the 55 lb thurst model. The 3x steering is very easy to use. The rotate motor 180 deg for reverse is an very good ideal but takes a little practice to utilize. Battery life is great. I installed the motor on my 10' bass 2 man boat. I have a 5 acre lake behind my home. The boat is now faster than a swiming Duck. But the best thing is, with the vairable speed, you can also go as slow as you wish. Actually any speed you wish. Also the up and down head, easy adjustable length to the very healthy size streering handle enable you to drive the boat easily with your knees."

"This would be a MUCH better motor if it had reverse on the tiller. I'm hoping BassPro Shops will let me return it."
