Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money Disadvantages: hooks bend if u use pliers
"If you like big smallmouths use this lure on a 6'6 medium rod with a reel that has a 6.2:1 gear ratio. I used the 02 color and caught 41 smallmouths in the mouth of a creek. IN ONLY 45 MINUTES!!!!!!! The biggest was a woooooppppppppping 7 lb and 14 oz.

Best Shallow Crankbait made, HANDS DOWN,March 6, 2009

"I've used every shallow crankbait imagineable and the minus-1 beats them all by a mile. It catches lots and lots of fish with little effort. I probably own 60 of these baits. Though you do catch a lot of smaller fish on these(the nature of smaller crankbaits), I've probably caught 50 or more Largemouth over 5 lbs on them. I would recommend these to beginners or the professional tournament fishermen."

Love the wide wobble!,March 4, 2008

"This is one of the first lures I grab when the fish are active and the water is muddy. I use the firetiger and cast it parallel to the shorline. If there's a bass there, you'll get him! If you don't have one, I recommend getting one, they're fairly inexpensive too."

shallow little crank = not just little bass,August 7, 2007

"me and my brother were fishing a local lake in central kentucky and he starts fishing with a worm and i pull out a shad colored baby one minus crankbait and we pull up to this one log and the first cast i hooked into a 6 1/2 pound bass and i finally pull that fat fish in.At the end of the day i had caught 11 bas and 6 of them were over 3 pounds and my brother caught only one fish maybe 1 pound"

"I tried to post this uner the Baby minus 1 elite but I could not so I will list this here. The baby minus 1 is an awesome lure. THe first day I bought it I took it straight to the water where I caught five nice bass ranging from 2.5 lbs to a very fat 6 pounder. The next night I went out at 10pm and caught 3 fat boys 3pounds and up... Awesome lure. I recommend the ghost minnow color."

"This is one of the most underrated baits yet! forget about the bass fishing this is the best bait ever for redfish! I've caught more redfish on this bait in the shallow marsh in south louisiana than any other bait on the market. The only draw back is you have to change the hooks because the redfish destory the weaker hooks, so next time your fishing for reds pull one of these baby ones out and give it a try."

"These are absolutely great shallow crankbaits! Try the baby bass color, I have been tearing it up with it. I fish these both slow and fast, and it works great both ways. The extra-wide wobble and bleeding red hooks are sure to trigger plenty of strikes!"
