<Unique action plus extra depth!A Bass Pro Exclusive - made to Rick's specifications by Lucky Craft! The folks at Lucky Craft have been working very closely with Bass Pro Shops® Pro Fishing Team member Rick Clunn to develop this innovative crankbait. It's based on Rick's research into water displacement theory, which explains the unique flat head designed to channel water out and over, creating a turbulence trail that bass can follow even in dingy water. The super-thin diving lip delivers extra depth and is squared off for a tight wiggle and to bounce easily off rocks and timber. Oval front split ring eliminates line stress; unique color patterns provide new looks for pressured bass. All models dive between 0'-4'.

#1 shallow crankbait,June 23, 2007
By ncbass24from High Point, NC
"The RC 1.5 crankbait is by far the best shallow crankbait on the market today. The finish on this bait is amazing and the gamakatsu trebles will stick anything that bites it. I even caught a carp on this bait, foul hooking in the tail by accident. The hooks held it all the way to the boat. Try the Copper Green Perch color, you wont be dissapointed."

Great bait,November 9, 2009
By LarrySfrom Land O Lakes Fla
Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design
"The best crankbait I have ever used (and I have many). Expensive, but worth every penny. 0.5 puts a limit in the boat quickly and then up the size for bigger fish. Ideal for Fla shallow lakes and over weeds with a stop and go retrieve - lure "looks back" when you stop it - AWESOME bait. Buy when on sale and get 3 for price of 2."

nice for open water (not around tember),August 12, 2009
By Hangfrom eastern , KY
Advantages: looks great Disadvantages: Difficult to use, Durability, stays hung up, way over priced unless your trying to hook drift w
"very nice looking baits as the eye always gets us fishermen. these bait are junk if your fishing any were that any brush is underwater. my other crank baits craw rite threw the stuff were the fish are hiding , but these always and every time never fails to get hung up. YOU will stay hung up with these . If using in open water then your in good shape but if any things hiding down there these baits will always find it and you will find your self wasting tourniment time trying to save a high dollar piece of junk . i have about 30 some lucky craft crank baits and there all the same about staying hung. way over priced for wood grabers."

best crankbait made.,July 20, 2009
By rookiebass77from ontario, canada
Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design
"This is my second year throwing this crankbait and it still puts the fish in the boat like no other crankbait I've owned. I've recommended it to others in my tournament series after seeing what it has done for me and they also agree and have run out just to get it. This bait has great action whether fished fast or slow, awesome hooks that have never let me down, and a good colour selection. Try one you won't be disappointed."

Great Bait,May 24, 2009
By Get5Bass
Advantages: Performs well
"I was prefishing for a tournament last weekend with a shallow bill crankbait and caught zero fish. I spoke with a buddy who was doing the same thing and he caught several. He tossed me a RC 1.5 and I used it the next day in the same places and caught a nice bag of fish. Made a believer out of me!"

By RBKINGfrom Ontario, Canada
"This is by far the best shallow water crank bait I have ever used! I am a big fan of how far this bait casts and the action in the water is far superior to any other. They come in a variety of fantastic colors and the hooks are sharp and strong! Choose your favorite color and enjoy, Cheers!"

Great Crankbait!!,February 5, 2009
By frogpond11from Baton Rouge, Louisiana
"I have been using these cranks for several years now and they have been very effective for me. I use mostly the white shad color and the chart/black back color. These baits have worked on every body of water I've ever been to. They come through cover great and they keep fish buttoned up once they bite as well. These cranks work for me when others don't. I would definitely recommend them."

Best Little Crankbait,January 22, 2009
By bassman20042from Bullhead City, Arizona
"I have used Luckycraft baits for years. I thought I would try these crankbaits out, and I wasn't disappointed. I bought the 0.5,1.5, and 2.5, and got great results. The wobble these baits produce, excites the bass into striking. Just use around points and stumps, and hold on. The bass hit these baits with anger. I would recommened these to anybody."

Busted lips,November 30, 2008
By LunkerMefrom San Diego, CA
"This bait runs true out of the box and does catch a lot of fish. It needs very little tuning, even after multiple hookups. I do get frustrated however with the corner of the lips busting off. A bait this pricey should have a more durable lip. I sure hope BPS/ LC can create a more durable lip in future models."

one of a kind,November 12, 2008
By retiredandlovingitfrom Roseville, CA
"I was looking for a lure with similar qualities to my "Bomber Model B" but with a smaller profile. After reading the description, this one seemed to fit the bill. As a rule, I don't generally use expensive cranks for shallow work in wooded areas, but the options for baits without rattles are very limited. I already knew from personal experience about "Lucky Craft" quality, but it was the unique color selection and flat -head signature trail technology that really drew me to this bait. I've had this one for only a month, and it's already become my bait of choice for this application. It runs true every time and the paint looks amazing. I can't say for sure, but I think the signature trail really makes this model more enticing, particularly in the pressured areas I usually fish. If Rick Clunn has anything to do with the design proccess of a product, you can be sure the principles are sound."

Best crankbait EVER,October 29, 2008
By BazznHokiefrom Charlotte, NC
"I've been fishing these cranks for around 2 years now and I've fallen in love with the 1.5 series in almost every shad color. The copper green shad got me started, but then I used the MS American Shad and the Ghost minnow during the spring months. Now I'm throwing the Sexy Shad color and killing the fall bass that are chasing shad. Love this bait."

"Go to" Bait,September 23, 2008
By fishn121from Illinois
"Excellent shallow running crankbait. The price may seem steep at first but once you tie on one of these baits you will be happy that you made the purchase. The baits run true, have a superior finish and high quality hooks. My dad started using them and it wasn't long before I was "hooked". These baits produce when all other methods do not. Try them....you won't be sorry!"

Recommended By A Pro,August 30, 2008
By bassquatchfrom Northeast, GA
"I was in BPS in Atlanta right after the Bassmaster Classic this year. I was studying a certain crankbait very closey when out of nowhere, I was approached by a young man. He started talking to me and led me to these Rick Clunn/Lucky Craft baits. He went on to tell me who he was (a Bassmaster Elite Angler).....I was shocked because I didn't recognize him. He recommended the Copper Green color 1.5 for the late winter/early spring to use in the mouth of coves in slightly stained to clear water. He said he had won more money using this lure than any other while climbing through the ranks to fish on the Elite Series. I've used the bait and have had very good success myself. Thumbs up for Rick Clunn and Lucky Craft for such an awesome lure!!!!!"

Terrible diving lip,June 26, 2008
By lovingcrankbaitfrom North Carolina
"What can I say, I shelled out 16 dollars for a beautiful crankbait that only stay in the tackle box. Used it 3 times and the diving lip is cracked, I am not lying. So unless you dont bounce it on anything hard, it will last... Great looking lure but terrible lip design :("

Best shallow runner,June 23, 2008
By basstrackfrom Cedar Park, Tx
"What can I say that has not been said? Nothing, but I can tell you I always have one tied on. I have caught so many fish with this lure I couldn't begin to estimate. It has a great wobble that I have used to catch fish after it has gotten dark. I use both the .5 and 1.5 but wouldn't hesitate to go bigger. I have caught many fish over 5 lbs with these lures and will continue to always have some in my box. Fish them shallow and make contact with the bottom or an abject and you won't be dissapointed."

Excellent Bait,May 13, 2008
By HawgsonSwimbaitsfrom California
"These baits always run true right out of the package, have great finish, and I love the action. They run true to their depths, produce in tough conditions, and come with a quality hook. I don't love paying $15+ for a crankbait, but unlike many other expensive baits, they do not leave you with buyer's remorse (until you lose one)."
