Crankbait Rod, March 29, 2009
By Forester from Michigan

"This is a great crankbait rod. I bought the 6-1/2 ft because I wanted a 2-pc stick. I wish a 7-0 2-pc was available. The price is excellent and so is the quality. I read a comment these rods are heavy but that probably came from someone who grew up with graphite."

SilaFlex, September 20, 2008
By Tmmytomato from Aurora, CO

"I have fished a 7' medium for many years and it has always been a joy when using big crank baits. Although I have over four dozen baitcast rods, this is the rod of choice when cranking DD-22s and large lipless baits. Have caught wipers over 9# and largemouth up to 8# on the rod. It is the best performing cranking rod for big baits - and easily the best value."

Decent glass rod for the price, April 24, 2008
By dkrum35 from Champaign, IL

"I have the 7' MH Silaflex. Wish they would produce it in a Med. action as it is a little heavy, but then again it is fiberglass. Works really good with bigger cranks and lipless cranks. Fiberglass is a lot less sensitive so a quality reel is a must in order to feel good vibrations (I cast a Shimano Cruxis). For the price, it is a good buy, can't wait to try some more expensive rods."
