Crankbait Rod, March 29, 2009
By Forester from Michigan

"This is a great crankbait rod. I bought the 6-1/2 ft because I wanted a 2-pc stick. I wish a 7-0 2-pc was available. The price is excellent and so is the quality. I read a comment these rods are heavy but that probably came from someone who grew up with graphite."

SilaFlex, September 20, 2008
By Tmmytomato from Aurora, CO

"I have fished a 7' medium for many years and it has always been a joy when using big crank baits. Although I have over four dozen baitcast rods, this is the rod of choice when cranking DD-22s and large lipless baits. Have caught wipers over 9# and largemouth up to 8# on the rod. It is the best performing cranking rod for big baits - and easily the best value."

Decent glass rod for the price, April 24, 2008
By dkrum35 from Champaign, IL

"I have the 7' MH Silaflex. Wish they would produce it in a Med. action as it is a little heavy, but then again it is fiberglass. Works really good with bigger cranks and lipless cranks. Fiberglass is a lot less sensitive so a quality reel is a must in order to feel good vibrations (I cast a Shimano Cruxis). For the price, it is a good buy, can't wait to try some more expensive rods."

Great all around Rod, April 10, 2008
By AZANGLER

"This rod is one of the best of used. I have it paired up with a Abu Garcia Evo - S and it really compliments the baitcast reel. The best thing about the rod is that you can feel any suddle bite because it has a great flex to the tip but also has the backbone to pull in a HOG with no problem. Great rod for 35 bucks. I also have a Shimano Compre rod that I paid 100 bucks for and honestly, it doesn't compare. It pays to do your homework cause it'll pay off in your wallet and at the lake."

Great Crankbait rod, March 24, 2008
By Longhorn23 from Guyton, GA

"I bought this rod a few months ago and paired it up with a Browning Citori reel and it is the best crankbait combo you can buy. With 12 pound Vanish this is the only crankbait combo you need to buy. The rod has a soft tip and very sensitive. A great rod for the price"

Great Rod+Great Buy!, October 2, 2007

"I bought a 6'6" MH rod for throwing medium crankbaits, and it was worth every cent. A very affordable rod with great performance. Perfect for medium to light heavy crankbaits. I highly recommend this rod!"

Great for the price, July 26, 2007
By TroutHunter70 from Enola, PA

"Had this rod sitting with my others for about a year now. Finally took it up to the lake this past weekend with my kids. Makes me wish I would have gotten it out sooner! Very smooth flex and sensitive action.
Read the previous review about the 7 footer being way too heavy. No problem with my 6 footer. Tossed spoons a mile all day and my arm did not feel like it was going to fall off. Great rod, and I still can't believe I paid what I did for it!!!

Great Fiberglass Rod, March 2, 2007
By Arauthator from New Albany, In

"I have one of these on my Pflueger Spinning rod...well, I have the equivelant in 7' length for a spinning rig. I liked that model so much for Carolina Rigging, I put one of these on my Daiwa RS1100 Baitcaster. Absolutely love it for Texas rigs and spoons. It brought me a 6.5 pound bass out of the thick weeds without breaking! Excellent quality in my book."
