Fantastic rod,April 16, 2009

"I bought this rod in the MediumHeavy version. I pond fish with this and i can catch anything from panfish to largemouth bass. This rod has a fast action for good hook sets, and is sturdy enough to help pull line and hooks outta trees on bad casts."

Great rod!,December 27, 2008
By FishjunkieMofrom Detroit, MI
"I have 2 of these, 6'6 and 7'0. For a fiberglass rod, they are not as heavy as one would think. Their sensitivity is decent. Their moderate action is perfect for throwing crankbaits. Their soft tip really lets me launch a light crank a mile. Been using them all season, caught quite a few fish on them, and they've held up well."

SilaFlex - perfect rod,August 29, 2008
By mokanfrom missouri ozarks
"Bought a 6' M and it is by far one of the best rods I have ever used. Well made, not a cheap rod. I have alot of higher priced rods and the Browning SilaFlex is one of my favorites. My fishing consists of all bass, catfish, walleye, trout, crappie and panfish. Use lots of different rigs, lures, and am a top-water fanatic. This is a great rod. All you would want is 2 or 3 more. Highly recommended. It is really superior to other fiberglass rods."

Browning Silaflex Rods,February 2, 2008
By Wolfefrom Virginia
"I recently purchased a Browning SilaFlex 6'6" M action spinning rod coupled to a Johnny Morris JM2000 reel. This combination is fantastic. Hook this setup with a bandit 200 and it's a Small Mouth Bass killer. I have never seen a rod with the casting distance of this Browning. I like this combination so much I'm now looking at a 6'6" MH with the JM4000 for Strippers. You can't go wrong with this rod or the Johnny Morris Signature Spinning reels."

Top Water Dream,January 25, 2007
By SunnyInFL
"Perfect for light top-water baits. Soft fiberglass action "loads" just right with top water baits that are too light to cast with a bait-caster. Softer action perfect for not yankin' too quick and pulling bait away, which I do quite often with a faster tip, high modulus graphite rod. I had been waiting for BASS PRO to come out with a spinning version of the "Crankin' Stik" (my personal favorite for larger topwater lures as well as crankbaits) but this Browning model serves my purpose well."

I like old school,May 29, 2006
By Jerkbaitdudefrom Southeastern New England
"I love the feel and wieght of these rods. I have two of them. Both 6'6" s, Although the 2 piece version is mislabled in my opinion. To me the 2 piece feels like a nice M rod. It is not MH. The one piece definately is MH.
The sensitivity is good for me but I really like the durability of the Hi Density fiberglass..ala silaflex. I usually break or damage my poles in transport. Graphite rods can't take a bang or drop (by accident of course) but still it happens and all it takes is one time to weaken the rod. But these rods are tough...so far anyhow.
I wanted some rods like the ones I used to by in the 80's. I still have one from then. Hopefully i'll have these for just as long.
