"I purchased a pair of these boots 3 years ago and I have had nothing but good luck with them!!! GORE-TEX is definately present! Walked through many creeks water half way up the boot and my feet stayed dry! I have punished and punished these boots trying to wear them out, so i can buy another pair, but it seams impossible! I am always walking around kicking stuff out of the way of a trail and all kinds of stuff VERY VERY DURABLE, Just keep them oiled down with a sponge every now n then and they come out looking brand spanking new! I wear these boots constantly, I hunt just South of Sweetwater,TX "rattle-snake capital of the world" and have been struck twice, but those snakes' fangs had no chance of penetrating this awesome boot! Also I get alot of compliments on how awesome these things look too! I definately reccomend this boot to anyone!!! Matter of fact, if I had the money I'd issue a pair of these things to all my hunting partners so i dont have to listen about how uncomfortable their snake boots are!

"i've owned 3 pairs of these boots good fit very comfortable but they do not last. After one year all have leaked. I like them but if you walk alot (i run hunting dogs) they will leak sooner rather than later. Nice out of the box keep going back to them, but would like to find a better option. if you still hunt probably a great boot for you they will last"

"I bought these boots one year ago, I wore them for the whole hunting season in south Alabama. You are not going to fine a better boot, i've tried them all. I wore this boot all day in water and marsh and my feet stayed dry. But I recomend you check water depht, befor you step in, but even when I filled my boots full of water they still held up, wore them dry and now they fit even better."

"Caught these on sale at the Macon store. I had reviewed before and saw several reviews that made me wary. They must have had bad luck. I've nothing but praise for mine. I've been turkey hunting and scouting out for deer in a swamp bottom. No leakage and makes me feel secure knowing I have protection for my upper leg area. They are a little tight getting them on/off, but that may be due to my big foot with high instep. I wear a 10.5w but had to get a 11w to fit."

"I've had these boots for 4 years, and they have been worn quite a bit in the woods. They are very comfortable, and easy to get on and off with the side zippers. My only complaint is that they have started to leak. Both boots leak now around the sole, so even in just a few inches of water I end up with wet feet. To summarize, they are comfortable and I will continue to use them during dry weather, but I will have to use another boot when I'm hunting around water."

"I tried these boots while hunting deer in river bottoms and flooded timber. Right away the mesh material in front tore when I went through some briars. Then they started to leak when I crossed the flooded timber in about 8 inches of water. I was skeptical of this when I bought them because they just said " waterproof" and did not advertise a quality liner like goretex. Anyway, I went straight from hunting to the store and returned them. I'm glad I did not have to test their snakeproofness!!!"

"This is the most comfortable boot that I have ever worn. I have had them for a year. I wore them for spring turkey season, scouting for deer season and all of deer season. I have been in water up to the tops and they have never leaked. I will buy another pair this year just because it is such a great boot. I was a little concerned initially about the tops being too tight, but I can tuck my pants into them and still zip them up. If you have large calves this would be a concern other than that wonderful boot."

Got the boots!
"I use these primarily for fishing around ponds. This is my second pair. I can wade in the water and have yet to have a leak in 4 years. I use them for everything. I have also been hit by one water moccassin and one copperhead. The boots worked! Whew! I swear by them. Used hard, and always in water, they will last about 2 years."
