"Location: French River Ontario Lures Used: White and the black Marabou
Both colors worked great. This season the white did produce more for me. Soak the lure for 10 seconds in the water before the first cast.
Most important to note is that the dye from the colored marabou will bleed into the white ones if they are wet and in close contact for too long. Keep the white separate. Lastly dry them when you head in for the night. Use your fingers to spread the hairs and then the wind on the boat ride home will do the rest."

"Though I have never caught a Muskie, I have used these and have had many family members catch some giant muskie on these. They're great. You rarely find a muskie fisherman around here without one of these or something much like it. Around here, people have luck with the black ones."

"there is something about marabou that makes a bait come alive. it seems to live and breath as it comes through the water. no need for any rod tricks to make this skirt flare and come alive. the big blade gives the bait a lot of lift so it works well over shallow cover. not so good trying to fish it deep. also with the light weight novice anglers may experience a little trouble with this bait on baitcasting equipment when it is windy. very effective on getting the attention of pike and muskies, and the bass can't lay off of it. i have had several spots that i have fished that the bass ignore regular offerings and when i come back through looking for a muskie i catch the bass. the bass hitting it will put some more excitement into a day of muskie hunting. good luck, wavewalker"

"I use this lure to fish over weeds in 1 to 6 feet of water. I catch bass and pike. The big blade makes it easy to keep it at a shallow depth. I make most of my own inline spinners but this is one of the few that I buy."
