It has a machined aluminum housing that is anodized to protect against corrosion inside and out.The 3.6 Volt, 6.12 watt, xenon gas filled bi-pin bulb puts out 80 lumens and can run up to 70 minutes on one charge. It has a spare bulb in the tailcap and features separate “momentary” and “constant-on” switching. Made in USA. "This flash light is so bright and compact. It will fit in any pocket. I like the fact that I don't have to buy batteries. My brother bought me this as a gift. he liked it so much he bought himself one. We both are big fans of Streamlight products."

Great light, January 5, 2009

"I am a mechanic in a food production facility and bought this light. So far NO complaints. it holds charge long enough to get through a 10 hour shift and puts out tons of light. It gets banged, bumped, dropped, and abused frequently and comes back for more. By far the best light source I could find for the money and the savings on batteries will pay for the cost of the charger.

The nylon case for it is not very sturdy and wears out very quickly. Don't buy one and get the leather if you plan on doing anything that is going to bump the case around much."

"This is the best rechargeable flashlight out on the market. It is very bright and light weight. I use it in the car and for geocaching! I also use it around the house. I would definetly reccomend the flashlight to everyone who is in need of a good flashlight.
