Squaltex Bibs 3XLT,November 2, 2009

Advantages: Ease of use, Quality, Value for money, Well made/Durable Disadvantages: short shoulder straps
"Bought these bibs just before season started on 10/1/09. I have worn them four times in the field, and overall, I am happy with them. The only real complaint I have is the length of the shoulder straps. Of all the places to skimp on material, why the shoulder straps? They are quite a bit shorter than I expected, and yes, I am very tall 6'10", but I had to take them to a tailor to have more strap added. The first time I wore them, the wedgie was unbearable. But, now they fit great. I wore them once in a horrible rainstorm and stayed dry as a bone, so that is reassuring."

"I bought these bibs and have been hunting in them quite a few times. I was worried about the quality or how dry they would keep me, since $80 is kind of cheap for a set of bibs, but I haven't been disappointed.
These bibs are great. They've always kept me warm, and dry. I had to field dress a hog in the middle of a creek, I was calf deep in cold water, and my legs and feet stayed dry. They are also very quiet, which is especially important when zeroing in on that big buck.
I have no complaints at all about these bibs. They are well worth the money."

"used these last weekend field goose hunting in northern Michigan rained all weekend but i stayed dry just wish they would come in a waterfowl pattern... was surprised how well they held up in the constant rain it doesnt feel like they are very water resistant but they are"

"I brought these bibs in the store because they were light weight and i needed some type of rain wear for my upcoming trip. I wore these bibs with nothing but thermals on my lower body and i stayed warm and dry during my camping trip in shenandoah. They seem to be durable, and they are very comfortable and keep you dry. I'm 6'3'' and i ordered long so when i'm sitting in the deer stand they wont allow water iinto my boots and the fit was perfect."

"I purchased a pair of these last year to replace a leaky set of raingear in my boat. I decided to buy the camo squaltex with the idea that I could use it hunting as well. I am well pleased with the performance. I have sat on wet boat seats, damp ground while hunting, and also stood in driving rains while fishing. Each time I stayed dry and comfortable. They have accompanined me during brutally cold, windy 20 degree mornings when fishing was punishment to many. The color has held up well through washing as well as the water resistance of the fabric. Great investment for any hunter of fisherman."

"THESE BIBS KEPT ME WARM ALL DURING A HUNT IN THE CALIFORNIA SEIRRA'S. NO RAIN BUT THE WIND WOULD GUST TO 30 40 MILES AN HOUR. NEVER WAS COLD. THE BIBS FIT GREAT ARE QUITE ROOMIE. I WOULD SAY THESE BIBS ARE A GREAT BUY."
