Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality
"I use this scope on hunting trips in WY, MT and NM and have great sucess with it. It is a quality scope at its price point without breaking the bank. I am happy with the optics of the spotting scope and would recommend the scope. The kit is also nice because it does come with a little tripod, soft carry case, and a hard shell case to carry everything. I did need to purchase a window mount seperately. The only complaint I have about the scope is the zoom control is very stiff and hard to move, although it is getting somewhat better the more I use if."

"i purchased this scope on 1/22/08 and i must say that i am not satisfied. i purchased this scope to replace an old burris scope. the scope looked okay in the store, but when i got it home and compared the two scopes the optics on my old burris was much better than the leupold. in my opinion this scope should not have the leupold name on it. let me say that i have other leupold products that i am very satisfied with, but i would not waste my money on another wind river product!"

"Have been using this spotting scope for about two weeks now and is a relatively good spotting scope.
In the low to mid power range, you can expect a very clear view. As you increase the power, as I imagine is the case with most spotting scopes, you'll have to get use to adjusting the focus.
On highest power, the clarity of the picture tends to be reduced. At first I thought this was due to over magnification, but I continued to experience this with longer range objects.
Kit adds a nice touch with included hard case and soft neoprene case as well as tripod. Would have preferred it come with a window mount as well. I was able to pick a window mount up relatively inexpensive from BPS."
