Ameristep Non Typical Rapid Rails give hunters the flexibility to find the perfect spot by providing a secure climb on less than perfect trees. The independent sections do not plug into each other, giving you enough versatility to conform to crooked trees. The adjustable strap-and-hook assembly attaches to the frame for easy installation -- just tighten by hand and step onto the lower rung to set. The side rail tubes rotate toward each other so you can use the Rapid Rails on smaller tree trunks -- a handy feature when used around the stand site to gain access to branches for trimming. Rapid Rails also feature quick-connect speed strap, a V-step for increased footing, and powder coating. Four 4 independent nesting sections (40'', 37'', 34'', 31'') make this set stackable and packable for quick transport. Weight: 11-1/2 lbs. TMA certified. Safety belt not included.Maximum weight capacity: 300 lbs. Features: Climbing system that works on less than ideal trees Independent sections do not lock to each other - sections can conform to crooked trees Side rail tubes rotate to fit smaller trees Quick connect strap and hook assembly secures rails fast V-step for increased footing Four nesting section design for stackable and packable use TMA certified

Easy set up, light, very secure,August 12, 2009
By BowTechManfrom Mt. Pleasant, NC
Advantages: Durability, Ease of use, Quality
"I purchased the "Lee and Tiff" combo that came with a set of these ultra light weight climbing steps. After my wife and I set this stand up I was sold on using these steps and have since purchased three sets to replace the other climbing sticks and screw in steps for my other hang-on treestands. These things are a snap to put up, very secure even on wet or loose bark, and they make the decision of picking between the right tree and the one that will have to do obsolete. I like to go a little higher than most so I purchased the extension section but 4 is plenty enough for any stand. They pack up nice and neat and just an overall great product."

Changes everything,October 21, 2008
By chaffedfrom NW Ohio
"Best I've ever used. Easy on the feet, sturdy, lightweight, easy to install. Was unsure about spending the extra money to go to this, but I am ordering another set tonight. PLan to buy a total of 3 sets to use for 4 stands and carry the lower unit to the stand I am gonna use that day."

A welcome change,June 19, 2008
By bucky280from North Carolina
"I have used screw-in steps to get up a tree for years but age and weight gain have made it tougher and tougher. I recently purchased a set of rapid rails and are very happy with them. They are quick and once you step on them 1 time they are solidly seated. I'll be buying more!!"

tree steps,January 16, 2008
By youngNbowhuntinfrom Great Mills, Md
"These are so simple. Just cinch the strap around the tree and ease your weight onto the step so that it bites. I was skeptical about how secure they would be and I was happily surprised"

Easy as 1-2-3!,November 20, 2007
By 358WINMANfrom NJ
"These steps are light to carry and quick to attach to a tree, even if the trunk is on an angle or crooked. You can also set them in a helix fashion to avoid big knots or branches. Easy to climb even with heavy winter clothing on. I recommend these to anyone looking for an easy way to set up a hang or lock on stand where tree steps or damage to trees is not permitted."

Versatility is the KEY!!!,October 23, 2007
By Danielfrom South Mississippi
"My father and I have been hunting together since I was able steady a shot. Through out that time frame, he has searched for the best and most versatile gear and equipment for us to better our hunting experiences. The Rapid Rail climbing system is by far the best system we have came across so far. The simple fact that I was able to carry my Lone Wolf hanger and the Rapid Rails in at the same time was the seller for us. The fact that I was actually able to do so was the reason I will recommend them to anyone that asks. Thank you Bass Pro for marketing such a great product."

LADDER,November 26, 2006
By CHRISLfrom LIVONIA,MI
"This ladder system is fantastic!! It works great on almost any tree, diameter being the only restriction I have come across. It is light-wieght and easy to set-up. It allows climbing into treestand heights of up to 20ft. It GRABS hold of the tree and supplies a firm and steady climb once set into place, no matter what the shape of the tree. Because of the four seperate sections it can even be staggered around the tree. I would recommend this product to anyone with any treestand in need of a ladder!"
