Advantages: Ease of use, Long lasting, Quality, Value for money, Well made/Durable
"Pros: I have used the 2-cell, 3-cell, larger D-cell models...you name it. Maglite is the way to go, from brightness to durability to battery life. They are as bright as any light on the market. The lights can withstand numerous drops on concrete as well as being submerged in water for extended periods of time. They also have excellent battery life, as it has never been a problem for me.
Cons: none
Conclusion: Maglite makes the best flashlights that there are, hands down. From the smaller models to the larger ones, you can't go wrong."

"I have a 6-cell, 4-cell, and a 2AA Mini. They have all exceeded their expectations. These are some TOUGH flash lights. My 4-cell has the Maglite brand LED 3-watt upgrade and is as bright as my 6-cell light with it's krypton premium bulb. You might be able to buy better lights, sure, for a LOT more money."

"I absolutely love Maglite. I've had my for years and it has never failed me. It's bright...especially after I converted it to led. I just don't understand why someone would pay so much more for a light when this one is time-tested and more reliable than your best hunting dog. Maglite is the way to go!"

"We have an outfit in Colorado and we camp in the wilderness. As the camp cook I rely on this product to get me to the stream for water, check the horses, and get to the "restroom" in the late evening when you cant see 2 steps in front of you. I would not trust any other light in the conditions I need it for."

"I bought my first Maglite® Flashlight more that 20 years ago. Since then I have bought 4 more, in different sizes, simply because the first was so durable
The first Maglite®? Still got it...even after driving over it...twice. Once in 1989, and more recently, in 2007... and IT STILL WORKS.
The only things I've ever had to replace are the batteries and two bulbs to all my Maglite® Flashlights.
I am convinced that the only reasons that will have to replace this product are loss or theft."

"I have used the maglight flash light in my job in years past, and now for everything you can think of. The beam direction is a great feature. The fact that it's water resistant has been a lite saver, many times in my job it would end up in mud, soupy mud, mud mud. I could clean it off woth a hose and know that it would still fuction. The self cleaning on/off is it's only drawback. I have worn out several."

"I have owned several different Maglites and over 30 years have not had failure one. These lites are built to last a lifetime. All components are of the hightest workmanship and quality. From my wife's purse for the smallest to my hunting fanny pack to by car for the biggest they are of tremendous value. They give you the security you need when faced with the dark side. ( Especially the largest - it does look intimidating when seen at your side)"

"I was given a Mag Lite as a gift in 1998 and I have never had to change the bulb YET !
I take it with me on every deer and duck hunt that I go on. And I have had to use it as a
weapon several times...for my protection...
and it still works ! It is a little scratched up...
but I can rely on it when I need it , even if it is
only when the kids want to play with it or when I need it to go hunting or fishing. I would definately purchase another Mag Lite..
but I'm waiting on the one that I STILL have to
quit first ! Hey...1998....and still works....and I go hunting every single weekend , from Aug.15 thru Jan.1....take my advice.....GO GET A MAG LITE ! ITS ALL YOU'LL EVER NEED ! !"

"About 18 years ago my son needed a flashlight for his first Boy Scout camping trip. I bought him a black 2D cell maglite. He was afraid he would break it. I told him that if he broke it I would get him a new one. He wore off most of the black coating from many camping trips with the scouts. After 18 years he still has it. I have a least a dozen in my home and cars. I heavily rely on four Maglites for my job. Maglite is not only the most reliable flashlight I have owned, it is the most reliable product I have ever owned."
