"These are great hooks that last and last. I use them for T-rigged Power Worms. I may try the XPS hooks only becasue of the the price difference. You can get 4 times more for the same price. If they don't hold up to the Gama's then I'll stick with with these."

"The Gamakatsu EWG Worm Hooks are amazing. When I first started using these hooks I had trouble setting the hook. At first thought, it was the hooks themselves and not me. However, after I used them time and time again, I realized it was me and not the hook. Once I got adjusted to the feel i never had another problem setting the hook. They are extremely durable and very sharp. I will never buy another worm hook again!"

"This is by far the best hook iv ever used. I decided to by the cheaper hooks that look just like the Gamakatsu but kept loosin fish on my hook set. I ran out on my discount hooks so my buddy gave me some of his Gamakatsu and the diference was amazing. I set the hook the same old way and I was realin in bass left and right."

"I've tried other hooks & they do stand up decently. But recently, I had to put this to the test. With the wind blowing at different intervals & my wanting to get my bait in a precarious spot, I cast my bait at the wrong time. A gust of wind blew my bait into some slop but not before it went over a hanging tree trunk. I was using braided 80 pound test. The hook came out of the slop okay but managed to swing around the trunk well enough that I was definitely stuck. The line & the hook stood the test of my hauling the branch back & forth. After about 10 minutes of my man-handling the trunk, it fell to the water. I reeled the trunk in. I removed the hook (still very sharp) & threw the trunk away. To say that ordeal held up like that & without a bend, means good craftmanship. This is a winner in my book."

"i tell you what these are good good hooks and this is the only brand of hooks i get anymore but the down fall is i got a snag one day and i was trying to get its out and the hook snapped in half which was dissapointing but overall very good hooks"
