"I purchased the Leupold VxII 3x9x40 for my new T/C venture 30.06.
Bass Pro mounted and bore sighted the scope for me at no charge.
Took the gun to the range and hit the bullseye in 3 shots. The first shot was a little to the right, so I had to make some adjustments. The scope responded perfectly to the adjusting I did. I was very impressed.
Have not shot at a deer yet, but I can't wait!!!!"

"I puchased the 3X9 scope for my .338 WIN MAG Browning A bolt which is very light and kicks like a mule. The scope is very clear and made with high quality crafstmanship. It holds its zero superbly dispite the recoil. There are also threads on both sides for installing accessories such as filters and scope caps. I purchased the aluminum flip up caps and they are of very high quality as well."

"Ive had a Vari-X II 3-9x50 on a Remington 700 .270 for about the last 12 years. In all that time I have never had to re-zero it except for changing bullet brands. If you are not a benchrest shooter the Heavy Duplex reticle is as good as it gets for deer hunting in fading light!"

"I put a Leupold 4-12x50 on a new Browning X-Bolt I purchased this year. I coulnd't be happier with the scope. It only took 5 shots to get the rifle sighted in. The scope adjustments were very precise. I own a couple of Nikon scopes and they cannot compare to the low light performance of the Leupold. This scope is a great value!"

"This scope is the best I found for the money. I have had the scope on my .270 for three years now and have not had any problems. Almost no floating from year to year. Usually takes two or three shots to sight in every year. In my opinion its not even a choice. The Leupold VX-II is the best at a modest price."

"I have the 4x12x50mm on my varmint rifle. This scope sighted in dead on and has stayed that way for over 2 years now. It is very reassuring to me to know this scope will be on when a coyote is in the cross hairs. This scope is excellent in low light conditions. I hunt coyotes a lot at night and I have no trouble picking up the cross hairs under a spot light."

"Bought a VXII scope about a year ago and have had great luck with it. Had it sighted in on my Ruger 22-250 in less than 10 shots. Have fired many rounds and it is still dead on. Very good in low light situations and it has a great warranty. Will buy another for my other rifles."

"I really needed a scope that would help me see at first and last light. I bought the 3x9x50 VX-II this past hunting season. It was on sale and I got a great deal at Basspro. They mounted and bore sighted it. It really made a difference in how long I could hunt. Hunting food plots, I was able to hunt until last legal shooting light. And thats when most of the bucks came out. It was great."

"When I bought my deer rifle, the salesman told me to put a VX-II 3-9x50mm on it. For the money it beats all I have used. I have encouraged other to purchase the same scope and they have regretted not listening to me. When they have to put away thier guns because it is to dark, I can still hog hunt fo a while longer. If the moon is out at all, you can still see the hog and the cross hairs."

"I bought a 6x18x40 and mounted it on my single shot 25-06.You can see whiskers move at 200 yards!! Light gathering is amazing-you can see the crosshairs clearly even when the naked eye can only see outlines and shadows. Without doubt the clearest and sharpest scope I have, no distortion at all, even at the edges. I was taught that " more expensive is better "- then I bought a VX-II. I have scopes that I haver paid 3 times more for, and they aren't as good as this scope. It doesn't matter how close or how far your shot is, you can depend on total accuracy. I have had alot of scopes,from very expensive to cheap, and this is my favorite If you are looking for that "old faithful" scope- this is it!!!"
