"I have owned this knife for three years and it still is working fine. There was one time where the screw on the handle was loose and needed retightening but this knife has lasted a very long time.
I think that the serrated edge to the blade is at a great advantage. I always use it to cut rope and braided line.
I don't even use this knife for hunting it is just a good all around knife for fishing and misc. activities."

"I originally was carrying a Gerber knife that was much bigger and heavier. In addition to it's size, the blade was dull and it would intimidate people at times (I live in Southern California). I heard very good things about Benchmade and for this reason I viewed and read some reviews about the mini-griptilian.
I love it. This OD Green handle is very nice looking and the blade is great. It came razor sharp and fits much nicer in my pocket. I look forward to a long life with this knife and I am seriously considering the blue handled version of the knife."

"This knife is the base line for Benchmade's Blue Class, which are high quality American made knives. It is an excellent hard work knife. The handle is very durable and very comfortable. The locking mechanism, called AXIS, is amazingly reliable, even when filthy, and very strong. The 154CM stainless steel holds an excellent edge, and is also very easy to sharpen. The pocket clip used on the Grip holds up and does not bend. Overall, this knife is a winner!"

"I have had this knife for bout a year, and haven't had to sharpen it once. The mechanism stays clean pretty much on it's own, and the lock is the strongest one I've ever seen on a knife. This is without a doubt the best knife I've ever owned, and I'm planning on getting the Osbourne that is also on this site. "Pain is Weakness Leaving the Body.""
