Sea Strike's Got-Cha Plugs are excellent for bluefish, Spanish mackerel, trout and other fish that feed on small bait fish. When fishing from piers and bridges, reel the Got-Cha Plugs in using short, sharp jerks on the rod to create a deadly swimming action. Got-Cha Plugs are also popular with anglers jigging for blues and trout from boat. Got-Cha Plugs dressed with bucktail are equipped with single 2/0 hook in the rear. 7/8 oz.

Yellow heads work better,October 26, 2008
By blacktip38
"About a month ago I used these lures on Pompano Pier. Thousands of Spanish mackerel haunted the sea. I had no luck with the red heads and switched to yellow heads. I caught five Spanish mackerel and lost one enormous bluefish. These lures come in gold with yellow heads which I let a friend try and he caught a bunch of Spanish mackerel that day too."

Great Bluefush Lure!!,August 6, 2008
By jason55from Long Island NY
"This Lure works awsome on the bluefish!!, I used the red/yellow and every cast i had a blue on the line! i would recomed using light line with light leader like 30 pound florocarbon, for best results! I had caught over 3 dozen bluefish with this lure in about a hour! just cast, let it sink, and twitch it all the way back and you will have a fish!"

Gotcha- freshwater,April 23, 2008
By bluefin40from Charleston WV
"we use these in freshwater (call us crazy) around locks and dam areas for sauger and walleye. You can take this plug and vertically jig it around the concrete structure anc catch up to 100 (one hundred) fish in about an hour on this jig. If you fish schooling fish, and do it verticallying jigging in rivers or lakes give this bait a shot."

The Classic Pier Bait!,April 14, 2008
By fishkid94
"These lures have been around a while, and they still produce today! I've caught Spanish Mackerel, Sea Trout and Lizardfish all on this bait. When your fishing in the clear waters of the Emerald Coast in Florida, you can see how these fish attack this bait! They slam it as hard as they can! This is a staple for any good pier fisherman."

only pier lure needed,March 15, 2008
By meatyfrom north carolina
"ive been using gotcha's since i was 6 years old and they are the only thing i ever use on carolina piers. like the description says, anything that eats small bait fish will love this lure. for spanich mackerel use a fast and very erratic motion about 1' under the surface. when the water is clear i can watch it from the time it hits the water and some of the strikes are very dramatic. for blues slow it down ALOT and fish it closer to the bottom. my favorite colors for spanish are white on white(because it looks more like a glass minnow than anything) and red on gold. for blues anything with red will get em. i use the red on white for them mostly because i can normally find them cheaper so its no big deal when they bite 10 of them off."

great lure,February 21, 2008
By lazaga
"I used the silver body/red head lure on the jax beach pier and did great on bluefish. Between me and my friend, we were catching fish every cast. People we watching in amazement. My surf tackle box is filled with them. P.S. I didn't use a leader because it gave the gotcha more action but I did lose a couple to the bluefish sharp teeth."

Awesome Lure,October 3, 2007
By Fisher Guy
"We were out in Ocean City, MD last weekend (9/28/07-9/29/07) decided buy a couple lighter action fishing poles that we could rent on the pier and I bought one of these in the Red head / white body style. I caught a small blue on each of my three first casts with this lure. Overall I probably caught 15 blues on this lure, which was more than everyone else on the pier combined. I was really impressed with it. The only thing that got more hits was shiners, but the blues rarely ended up biting the hook. I am really looking forward to trying this lure out again."

great lure,December 20, 2006
By Sutton
"I love these plugs. They sink fast and draw strikes. Great on bluefish, jacks, permit, etc. I use a rip and slow retrieve on 8 to 12 lb. test. One more thing, they cast a mile."
