Come on people, think...., July 7, 2009
By Phool from Central Oregon

Advantages: Quality, Value for money, Well made/Durable

"I love these coolers!!! Central Oregon during bow season, 80's and 90's for temps. I have stuck food and drinks in these and have not had to add new ice for 6-7 days. The secret people is don't put warm drinks and foods in them. As you refill the drinks in them put them in during the early morning when they are still cool from the night air. Chill your stuff or buy the drinks from the coolers in the grocery stores. Those warm drinks take a lot to cool them down in the ice. That melts your ice more quickly. Sure at times and where you live the temps will be more extreme than my home but come on..... Try an older style cooler and these Coleman Xtreme's are hands down better."

NOT "XTREME" TEMPS, March 4, 2008
By MMotlNV from Las Vegas, NV (desert camping)

"Purchased this cooler because we live, camp and play in Las Vegas, NV (110º in the summer). Ice doesn't last 36 hours in here, even thout it claims 5 days. In these temps I wouldn't expect 5 days, but more than 1½. It performs the same as our $20 standard cooler. Save your money and just buy more ice. Oh, and the "wheel well" takes up space inside the cooler, hard to stack cans or bottles on the bottom."

I had higher expectations!, February 8, 2008
By RegisteredUser from Colorado

"The wheels are nice, but I guess I had higher expectations. Yes it did keep things cold, but the ice melted quicker than I thought it would.

It is nicer than the cheaper Colemans, so this is why I give it 4 stars.

Great cooler, July 11, 2006

"This is one of the best coolers I've ever used. Kept drinks iced up for three days of camping with two adults and four kids. Love the wheels."
