great kit,February 2, 2008

"i recarpeted my 15 ft javelin bass boat with this kit. it is well worth the money! the job is time consuming but well worth it in the end. the carpet is easy to work with and a good grade of product!it is easier to wrap storage lids if you go to the local store and buy some 3m adhesive or 3m headliner adhesive it sticks faster on the edges and makes your job easier. the glue provided just takes too long to dry for the lid edges, but is a great product.. highly recomend!!"

Lots of time consuming work,November 1, 2006
By Yowlsfrom Las Vegas, Nevada
"Undertaking the job of recarpeting my Tracker was a bigger job than I imagined. I had to remove the old carpet and then sand off the wood to remove all of the old dried glue. Then I used brake cleaner to remove the still very sticky glue from the aluminum hatch covers. Patterning the pieces of new carpet was real easy and I trimmed as I went. Working with a friend it took me almost three weeks, working four hours a day to complete the job, some times being able to work eight to ten hours on some days, depending on the pieces being either removed or replaced and being limited by how many clamps I had available, as the hatch covers required at least three per side to make it right. The glue was ok to work with and I ran out before the job was done, but I found that a spray adhesive worked better and was easier and faster to work with. I figure the boat looks better now than it did when it was new, as the carpet is of better quality than the original."

Excellent!,October 29, 2006

"I used this product to convert a jon boat to a tournament styled bass boat. It was easy to install and has held up well. The hardest part for most of the people who buy it will be getting the old carpet out."

Cheaper than paying someone and looks good,July 11, 2006

"I own a 96 Glastron fish and ski boat. I had an estimate given to me by a local ?they do it all? boat repair shop, and it was going to cost me around $600.00 without any problems. Well when I got in there; guess what, there were problems. Buy buying the carpet from Bass Pro and still fixing all the problems, I did not even come close to spending $600.00. The only thing negative that I can say about the product is that it is messy, but I will get messy anytime for the amount that I was able to save."
