A very flashy swim bait, with lots of wigglin', wobblin' action. Vibrant holographic colors shimmer through the water like a real baitfish. The high dorsal fin acts like a rudder to track true on the retrieve; unique nose eyelet imparts better lift-drop action. Long shank Mustad® hook; thin, high-action tail section. 4 pack.

Solid Soft Swimbait,August 28, 2009
By OutdoorBoy
Advantages: Quality, Value for money Disadvantages: sometimes swims sideways
"Although I have yet to catch a fish on them, I can back up the other reviewer in that they are indeed made of a very durable plastic and that the hooks are excellent. However, the swimbait sometimes struggles to swim upright. I think this is because of the tail, which is not even on both sides. Therefore, it creates more drag on one side of the bait than the other, creating a sideways wobble. I do not know how much this affects its ability to catch fish."

Stringer full of Stripers!!,December 9, 2008
By Gilbertfrom Central California
"I have bought these swimbaits in all the sizes that are available and have caught fish on all of them. Believe it or not, but I have had probably the most success on the 2 1/2 model in the mullet color for the stripers. I was catching fish all day of the bigger models but didnt stick any keepers until I switched to the smaller model and landed four good keepers. They are made of strong rubber, a lot harder than most other swimbaits, and the hooks are sharp and stout! A plus when fishing for hard mouthed fish.
My drawbacks for the baits where that they would become unfishable as they would lose their straight shape in a tackle box. Cannot use a swimbait if it doesnt swim straight.
This did not affect the action of the larger ones as much, but all sizes did lose their shape."

very realistic,August 3, 2008
By sierrafishing
"The Vivif minnow is very lifelike in appearance and has good action in the water. The material is very soft and durable and the hook is of heavier construction than many other jig type minnow baits. That combined with the heavy weight make it a good choice for getting down to the big fish in fast current or deep water. A great quality lure."

Amazing results,June 10, 2007

"I'd had some satisfaction with Panther Martin spinners for trout in the past. When I saw the Vivif minnows for the first time, I was impressed. They were the most realistic soft plastic minnow I had ever seen. Sure enough, I have caught plenty of bass on these. They really proved themselves when I was at a pond, only catching throwbacks with grubs and Power Bait. I was about to give up and decided to try the Vivif minnow. I pulled in 3 large crappie in no time! Needless to say, I'll be keeping them stocked in my tackle box."
