"Unlike the deep and medium runners in this style, the shallow runner actually performs fairly well. Need to change out the hooks. When these are on sale, I would grab a few for backup cranks.
If you want a good crank for around the same price, go with the Strike King cranks."

"Everytime i go fishing with friends i am always considered the guide. I have the most experience when it comes to fishing with my friends. I will tell them what to use, where to throw ,and how to fish it. Yesterday my friend wasnt having very luck with something he picked out ,so he asked me what to use. I looked in his tackle box ,and saw the XPS nitro in a 66 color. I told him it would work for the cover we were in ,and so i tied it on for him and i told him to come over where i was fishing. Then all of the sudden he gets a nice 2 pounder on his rod. Then a few minutes later he caught 2 crappie. Finally to finish the day he caught a blue gill. I recomend the no. 66 color for heavy cover while swiming it with a very slow action ,I am now ordering 3 of these lure in different sizes in the no. 66 color. The fish like profile looks silly but to the fish they think it's just another fellow fish ,and so they will strike it all day. This is a great deal ,and i plan to keep thins in my tackle box where ever i go"

"this thing works great. I fish the wide waters of the Erie Canal in Newark and up there the water is really murky and it works great because the vibration helps so much. the other cool thing is that it floats so when the waters kind of cool you can bring it in and let it float. I caught this fish with it(and yes i am 13)"

"I bought this lure because i was told by a man working at Bass Pro that it was his bait of choice for this spring. Man he wasn't kidding. It reached 64 in temp so i decided to try something shallow. First cast i caught a monster Crappie. Two cast later i caught a nice Bass. This lure has nice movement and dives great for shallow water. If i had to say something bad about it i would have to say i dont like the splash it makes when it hits."

"Just back from an early morning session on my favorite small lake here in SC...Fall is coming and water temperature is dropping fast. after a super hot August/September..76 degrees today...and this new Lazer Eye lure from BPS was the only thing they wanted. The #12 pattern on this compact lure was a real success at the entrance to shallow creeks. The finish is amazing in its realism and the "wobble" is nicely exagerated...the lip design bounces off most deadfalls in 2-3 ' A good look & certainly good value."

"I bought #'s 12, 49, 50, & 67. I've used each a few times. Everytime I go out, I end up pulling in some good size bass with these crankbaits. These are a great addition to the tacklebox and will help you catch some fish. Reel in slow and they'll stay towards the top, but reel in fast and watch these dive around. You simply watch the bass come from no where and snag the crankbait. They truly make fishing fun! Go Truex Jr.!"
