Excellent Leader Line,April 20, 2009

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Value for money
"I have used this in PA waters with a huge success. I was using 20lb, but went to 15lb test. I use this to help me get the lures/bait deeper. I especially like the way it aids me with this when trolling for those deep water fish. Another factor is that I found that using this leader increased the amount of hits I receive due to its low visibility. Sometimes fish in deep water are slow to reply to the goodies thrown their way, but this leader line has increased my chances dramatically. I also use it when casting without any issues. I have used the 20lb when fishing saltwater in New Jersey for blues or fluke. This line tyes well and the knots hold. I use the uni knot to tie this to my 8lb or 14lb(Trolling) main lines in freshwater."

Fantastic leader material,July 1, 2008

"I suspect I've really have tried about all there is in the FC leader market. Far and away this leader is the best I've found. I use it for my saltwater flats work and in freshwater as well. In the last three years during Canadian trips is has landed musky to 48 inches in only 15 or 20lb test. I depend on this product and in three years of extensive use it has not failed. Great buy for the money too."

"Its stiff enough to keep its form after fighting many fish and supple enough to tie good knots. Great abrasion resistance. Ive seen it last against a truck load of speckled trout and rarely have it part at the main line knot. I use the 15lb leader with 8lb. Fireline and tie it with uni-knots. Good to go."

BEST KEPT SECRET,August 13, 2007

"I used to use Seagur and thought it was the best leader line out there. When I first picked it up in Fort Lauderdale, I thought I would keep it as a back up if I run out of Seagur. I ran out, used the CFX and have never switched back. I couldn't believe how it disappears in the water. It has great knot strength and ties real easy. I would recommend this product to my friends, but not too many. I used to be able to walk into Bass Pro Shops (Ft. Myers) and pick it up. Nine times out of 10 the 40lb leader is sold out."

"EARLY SPRING OF 2006 I PURCHASED A SPOOL OF 20lb TEST. I USE IT WHEN CASTING EXPENSIVE JERK BAITS FOR SHALLOW WALLEYES. SOMETIMES MUSKIES WOULD INHALE THE ENTIRE BAIT AND BITE IT OFF. IT HELD UP PERFECTLY AND LANDED SOME NICE FISH. I LIKE IT BETTER THAN WIRE BECAUSE IT DOESN'T ADD ADDITIONAL WEIGHT OR INHIBIT THE LURES ACTION AND I CAN MAKE IT ANY LENGTH I NEED."
