"I have used these in Cypress swamps where I have walked in water and muck all day. The boots have done an excellent job at keeping my feet dry and sweat free. I have also walked 20 miles in these boots, extremely comfortable.....no blisters. These boots are the most comfortable footwear I have ever owned. They are more comfortable than my favorite pair of old tennis shoes."

"I've been hunting in the Mississippi Delta for 40 years, and have always worn rubber boots because leather boots were either not tall enough or not waterproof enough. My first pair of leather snake boots, which were VERY expensive, leaked the first time I sloshed around in the swamp and have been sitting in the back of the closet ever since.
These are the boots I've always dreamed of. They are taller, lighter, warmer, and more comfortable than any rubber knee boots I've ever owned, and they are just as waterproof. It was a wet year last year, and I had my doubts whether they would hold up walking through mud and water all day long, but at the end of the day, my feet were always dry .
Now, if they were only as easy to get on and off as rubber boots..."

All 3 pairs have leaked !!!,March 3, 2009

"I have tried 3 pairs of these Bayou waterproof snake boots, all have leaked out of the box. I tried 2 diff. types of waterproof spray and they still leaked. They are the most comfortable leather snake boots I have owned but will not keep my feet dry. I can walk in wet grass during the morning hunt and have wet feet within 5 min. I know other hunters who claim theirs do not leak. I find that hard to believe considering all 3 pairs I have tried leaked brand new out of the box. I put the first pair on and sprayed them with a garden hose for a min. and my foot was soaked. They filled up with water when I stepped in a puddle. Bass Pro sent 2 replacement pairs and they were the same. If they have figured out a way to make these boots waterproof I would love to try another pair."

"Like always i waited forever to get a new pair of boots. Got them as a xmas gift. I brooded and thought about them all year and was gonna wait till deer season was over with. After looking all over the house to find my present i put them on and wore them all day. A tall pair of socks is recommended. They were comfortable and queit."

Best Hunting Boots Ever!,April 18, 2008

"I bought a pair of these 5 years ago. Still have them, along with a couple of spares in case they quit making them. I hunt swamps and hard wet terrain. I have had water all the way to the top of the boots and remained dry. Walked over 18 miles in a day in them and my feet were completely comfortable. The first time I put them on was like putting on a pair of slippers, these are the most comfortable and durable hunting boots I've ever owned. Keepers for sure!"

"I bought these boots last turkey season they were on sale, and with my BPS reward points i got them for practically nothing. Thought they were going to be enough for turkey season you know they were just Red Head brand how good could they be. I was pleasantly suprised they were very dry and the comfort was unbelievable. I now wear them for turkey season as well as the early deer season and have been pleased with them to the point i wished they were insulated so i could wear them all deer season as well because the comfort of these boots is far superior to my high dollar "name brand" insulated boots. Thanks Bass Pro for this product."

"These boots are very comfortable to walk in. . . I have no complaints there. However, on my last day of scouting with my boys it started to rain and my feet were soaked to the bone. By the time we got out of the rain I was able to wring the water out of my socks. I was very dissappointed."

"I bought the more expensive pair at Bass Pro and they gave me hot spots and hurt. I tried on thhe less expensive pair to my surprise they felt better than my tennis shoes and not to heavy either. They have been fantastic and I put money back in my pocket also"

"These boots are very comfortable. I dont mind wearing these boots all day long. They keep my feet dry, warm, and comfy. They clean up very well and dont track mud everywhere. Only down fall is all the laces to tie and untie. The benfits out weigh negatives."
