This is an excellent book,March 13, 2008

"I bought this book right after I got into musky fishing, and it contains not only the maps of Pete's favorite musky lakes, it also has a ton of tips, tricks, and how to information on each lake. He writes about many of the more popular musky lakes that he and many of his pro guide friends have fished personally.
Each state has its own chapter, and each lake within that state has quite a few paragraphs filled with great information pertinent to that specific lake. You get information like what times of the year are best, which bays or areas of that lake are best, what colors and styles of lures work best, and its all info gathered from the local guides that regularly fish those lakes.
This book also contains many chapters of regular old "how to" information covering everything from equipment and lure selections, to catching, landing and releasing musky. I re-read it occasionally, since it is a great source to draw from, and I still learn new things.
On a side note, Pete Maina was nice enough to sign my copy at the Bass Pro Spring Fishing Classic a few years ago! Thanks Pete."
