"My previous Minn Kota three bank charger finally died after 11 years. So it was no supprise to my wife when I came home with another one. For the extra 20-30 bucks, you better buy the Minn Kota. 11 years ago I paid over 300 bucks for my 15 amp 3 bank, now it's 180, well worth it!"

"a 8amp charger came installed on my boat when i bought it new. the charger worked well for about the first 1 1/2 and i was completely satisfied with the performance of the charger. but one day it just stopped working. we sent the charger back to minn kota and they quickly sent me a new charger, no questions asked. and for some reason they sent a 10 amp to replace the 8. great product and minn kota definitely stands behind them.."

"I have owned the mk315, three bank charger for over a year now and it has been great. It actually is truly waterproof, cause when I first got it and installed it, I took my boat out and while I was fishing, my aerator hose came off and was filling up my boat with water, until I realized it. I opened up my rear lid and was shocked to see my boat filling up with water and my new charger completely submerged. I was really happy when I tried charging it after the submersion and it worked correctly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Good quality goes a long ways."

"I had the dealer install the MK345 charger on my boat last year, moving up from the 2 bank charger. I love the much faster charge time, and also the easy to read status monitor, The only thing I dont like is if you get your batteries below 8 volts, the charger is programmed not to charge the battery. You will have to jump the battery to above that 8 volt minimum before the charger will pick up the battery. It's a safety thing. I haven't had any problems from the mk345."

"I have a MK 210, after 2 1/2 years of use it quit me, the red lights started coming on like I had bad connections. Which the connections were good, there was just something going on internally with the charger. Anyway, MK has a 3yr warranty, so all it took was a phone call to MK to get the address to send in the bad charger and in less than 2 weeks I had a new charger setting on my doorstep. The unit worked flawlessly the first 2+ years, I never noticed my batteries not being fully charged like others have mentioned. It seems to be a good product with an excellent warranty and customer service."

Minkota 315 charger,July 14, 2007

"I have the 3 bank model 315 charger and love it. No probs so far, but Iv'e only used it for a couple of trips. It charges up my batteries faster than I thought it would. Battery life with the new charger does'nt seem to be any different than with my old portable charger. It appears to be a excellent product."

"I purchased the Minn Kota charger one week ago. The charger does not charge the batteries to their full potential. It shows the outboard as being full as well as the trolling motor. I just came from fishing an knew that the trolling morot battary was completely dead. Also the charging unit gets very hot after first hour or so. You can't touch it with your hands."

"I Purchased the three bank charger along with a new Minn Kota trolling motor. I noticed that I was not getting the type of time out of my new Motor. I checked the batteries and realized that the Minn Kota charger was not charging the batteries to full charge. If that was not bad enough now one of the banks will not work and the unit is only 14 months old. Im going back to the pro charger."

"This charger will not fully charge trolling motor batteries. It shows the batteries to be fully charged but the batteries don't hold up very long. When placed on another charger the batteries will continue to charge until fully charged. I have talked with other fishermen and they are having the same problem with this Minn Kota product."
