Good for casual camping,May 28, 2009
By WorldTraveler
Advantages: Ease of use, Quality, Well made/Durable
"Good for casual traveling, needs a better floor with some sort of insulation. Not for use in cold climates. Its very light weight and easy to set up. the interior zipper is pretty good, but the cover snags alot. No leaks at all when it rains, blocks wind really good as long as you have it set up evenly."

Good quality tent,March 17, 2009
By MisterYoufrom South, Florida
"I camp in 10,000 Islands at Everglades National Park. Even though it's in South West Florida, I've experienced temperatures in the 20's and winds in the 30's and even 40's with the occasional water spouts. The tent has weathered up to these extremes satisfactory. Although my favorite feature has to be the "No-see-em" netting. The little bugs are so small that they enter your regular tent netting. They can't enter this tent. I've been using this tent for about one year and am very happy with it. I recommend it."

day after storm
"I've been using Eureka tents for 25 years with my first being an alpine meadows. I had to finally retire it two years ago (dry rot)and bought the Apex XT. I have only good things to say about this tent. Never a problem with water as I would expect. It even survived a massive storm with 80 mile per hour winds in Voyageurs National Park. The storm knocked over hundreds of trees and even a 300 foot phone tower at the edge of the park. Our Apex XT did just fine and kept us completely dry. What else can be said, great tent, great company."
