Advantages: Ease of use, Style/Design, Value for money Disadvantages: no problems noted so far.
"This PFD is so small and unobtrusive that it's a pleasure to wear. I don't even know it's there. I've never had to deploy it yet but it is very wearable. Additionally, I use it during waterfowl season in place of my wader belt...mine is the MAX4D camouflage version."

Great for hot climates.,August 27, 2008

"I'm an excellent swimmer and I boat in a very hot muggy climate. I've never worn any PFD over the years due to discomfort and the threat of heatstroke. I do a lot of solo fishing offshore from my boat. My wife purchased one of these for me and begged me to use it. I've been wearing it on every boat trip for months now and I hardly even notice that it's on. Great safety device!
This product could be a little too tight if you're larger than a 44" waist."

"This is a great product. I wear it all the time in my kayak on flat water, and in the camo version it will be great for waterfowlers or fishermen who use boats in bulky clothing in cold weather. I gave one of my sons one to wear when he trout fishes in waders in cold swift water."

"Most of the time life jackets are hot and bulky. Not this product. You can have it on anytime you are in your boat, kayak, or canoe. It doesn't get in the way and will always be there in case you need it. I find myslef forgetting it's even there it's so comfortable."

"very easy to use and does not take up tons of space. it works well and I would tell anyone to get this for camping, fishing or what ever you do near water. I think this is one of the best ideas they have come up with, before I had tons of space used up for life jackets now I have more space for other things. i rate this item very high!"
