The Ascent series of shotgun scopes sport fully coated optics for sharper images. They feature a 1/4-MOA click windage and elevation adjustments and are adjusted parallax-free at 50 yds. The Ascent scopes have an easy grip power ring, one-piece tube construction, and a sleek non-glare matte or AP Green Camo finish. This series also feature a special shotgun circle reticle ideal for target acquisition in low light. Waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof with a protective see-thru lens caps. "Clear, Clear, Clear!! This scope is very easy to shoulder. Wonderful eye relief, and nice matte finish scope. There is no other scopes on the market with this much value for this low of a price."

Not what I expected,

"My wife purchased one of these scopes for my birthday last week to put on my new muzzleloader. To say the least- I was NOT impressed. When testing it at the range it seemed OK, but while deer hunting with it I found the optic quality & light transmission poor at best. At 7:10 AM on a cloudless day I had problems seeing the deer that was about 50 yards from me. The site picture was brighter and clearer using my bear eye than with this scope.

"I recently purchased this scope for my CVA Optima .50 cal muzzleloader to use for the 2007 Tennessee deer season. WOW! It only took about 10 shots to sight in, and the following week I bagged a doe with it. It is VERY accurate. The ad said it didn't come with mounting rings, but when mine was delivered, it had rings already on it. I would highly recommend this scope. Great deal for the price."

"I recently purchaced this scope in 2.5x32 and put on an 835 turkey gun. i shot less than 10 shots with 2 3/4 high brass #6 game load to get it sighted in and it went blurry. it also got a bunch of tiny spots that looked to be on the inside of the scope. I never even got to shoot a magnum load with it. I am very diassapointed with it. I did return it to my local store and recieved store credit. i will not be purchasing another red head brand scope."

"I recently purchased the redhead 2.5x30 shotgun scope and it is easier to sight in than any scope I have ever owned, this scope is pretty much right on the bullseye out of the box. I would recommend this scope to any one looking to put it on your rifle or shotgun.

"I bought this scope last winter after upgrading to a cantilever shotgun barrel. It is an excellent scope and well worth the money. The glass is good quality and very clear. Once mounted it was very easy to get sighted in and it holds it's zero even when shooting 3 inch sabots. I plan on getting another one once I get a muzzleloader."
