"I purchased this red dot scope to put on top of a Browning Buckmark pistol. It has performed very well. As expected, the dot is difficult to see on a white target on a bright day, but this should be expected with most red dot scopes. I look forward to mounting it on the shotgun for turkey hunting."

Easy on the eyes,November 13, 2007

"I have two of these Redhead reddot sights, one on my 44 mag revolver and one on my 44 mag carbine. As I have gotten older my eyes couldn't pick up the iron sights any more. Since I mounted these Reddots I can almost instantly bring the lead to target. i simply love them.
I am gettting a third one to mount on my turkey shotgun for the spring season."

Not for muzzle loader nor large rifle,October 26, 2006

"This red dot sight failed after about ten shots on a 50 cal. muzzle loader. When I called in the operator told me that there had been trouble with this sight in reference to muzzle loader and rifle use. It may be wonderful for the shotgun and small caliber rifles, but not for the larger weapons. I steped up to the better model and time will tell.
Spend a little more money and get a sight that will work on any rifle or shotgun you might choose to mount it on."

"This is a great, moderately priced red dot scope. If you were wanting to try a red dot scope, this would be an excellent choice. The glass is clear and the dot brightness is adjustable for all light conditions. Whether hunting or target shooting, this scope will perform."
