"After reading many reviews about the LA Guarddog I made my purchase at Bass Pro Shops in Concord,NC. It has already paid for itself on my first extended trip while using it to hold my Polaris Sportsman 400 securely in my pickup. When a driver in front of me decided to stop at once in the middle of the road I applied my brakes very hard to avoid collision. I am confident in saying that if I had only strapped down the ATV it would have ended up in the cab of the truck with me. But with the LA Guard dog on the job the ATV never moved. If you want a product that works, buy the LA Guarddog. You will be glad you did. I am.

"Why didnt I think of this? Very easy to use, and securely attaches your ATV to your truck. I used to use the ratchets, and I would have to stop and retighten them all the time due to the ATV suspension. Also I would worry about it getting stolen while I was away from the truck. Not anymore. Be sure to get a quality trailer type lock for the tongue and the ball, and your good to go."

"I spent the money on this because I could picture the tie down straps breaking and my ATV bouncing down the interstate. It works great. I don't worry about the machine at all. Very well built, easy to use, and worry free. Kind of expensive, but better than a totaled ATV."

"Just received this product. It is the BEST piece of tie down equipment I have ever used.
The ATV will not move period.
The "Guard Dog" attaches to your ATV in approx. two minutes with no fuss or cumbersome tie down straps.
It works with both long bed and short bed p/u's, tailgate either open or closed, depending on the size of your bed & ATV.
I would recommend this piece of equipment to anyone. (Why didn't I think of this one).
Use it on the highway or off road to secure your ATV, you won't be disapointed."

"When you use this your ATV will not move around in the bed of your truck. It is a little heavy to carry, but I put a receiver hitch on my ATV so when I take it off the truck I just turn around and put it on the ATV then drive to the back. This is a great product, I wish I had thought of it. It is also a good theft deterant."

"when I bought my atv a friend told me to try his guard dog instead of tie downs. this thing works. the highway patrol followed us in to our camp site to ask what it was. they had not seen any thing like it.
the atv stays in place and it can't move forward or back. i have used it on the highway at speed, on back roads that would be smoother if they were dirt and on old high mountain logging roads or trails. The atv sits solid.
there is no worry if you have to stop fast or hit ice the atv will not come to visit you in the cab of your pick up like it would if it was not locked down.
This unit is great!"
