Advantages: low cost
Disadvantages: Quality, Durability
"Product is made of thin piping. It bends easily. I carry a Tree Lounger(old style) which is very heavy and the Treestand transporter bends down(back). It also will bend if it catches onto any brush during transport. When you tighten the bolts down to hold your stand in it will also bend the piping if you over tighten it. Spend the extra money and get something stronger. Was also not very easy to install, brackets didn't fit the Polaris I own."

ATV Treestand Carrier

,
August 26, 2008

"This carrier is made of very poor materials. I bent the tubes on mine just by over tighning the hand adjusters because the tubes are very thin metal. Also, the bottom hooks don't swivel.
My buddy bought the ATV Totem about 3 yrs ago right after I bought this, and it is still in good working shape and is a lot stronger built. I don't recommend this carrier it will not last.

OK Item

"I did not think it would take as long as it did to install. The brackets do not fit my rack very well and I had to modify them. I also had to use a hammer to get the u bolts over the tubes. Once installed, I took a cordless drill and drilled some drain holes for the rain water to drain from."

too generic

"The brackets don't fit my rack. The U bolts don't fit properly into the brackets. The instructions are vague and confusing--parts are actually hand written and undeciperable. You may need to buy additional bolts. It will scratch your rack."

Treestand Transporter

,
November 19, 2007
By Buckmastertom
"This transporter will carry any treestand. I use it to carry a Treelounge stand and it works very well. The only problem with this item is that when it rains or when you wash your atv the water gets into the tubes of the transporter and does not drain out . This will cause this transporter to rust over time. I drilled drain holes into the bottom of the tube so that the water will drain out. If the mfr. would have put some drain holes in the transporter I would have rated this item a 5 star."

Needs a hammer!

"The biggest problem was getting the U-bolts over my rack bars and the carrier it's self. Had to bend them out and then use a hammer to force them over. More work than I expected. Maybe should have bought the "Polaris" adaptation. Otherwise, works as advertised."

"The ATV treestand transporter is a high quality item at a very economical price. I appreciate the ease of installation on my ATV. The ATV transporter adjusts to fit just about any treestand on the market today. You just lock it down and go. It's that simple!"
