"I bought this lantern for emergency use specifically for it's ability to burn unleaded gasoline.
Well, the power went out the other day and I had a chance to test it out. It is very simple to set-up and use and the built in lighter is awesome.
It is very bright and exactly what I expected. I would say that it is a little expensive, but there are no other lanterns with the same functions to compete, so I guess it is well priced. The only downside I would say is the lack of a hard case for it. The steel cage around the glass is great though."

"I went to BPS last year to get a lantern for camping and the lake, and ended up spending a few dollars to get the top of the line model. It may be expensive, but it is worth it. The dual-fuel option means you can use either propane or unleaded gas, making it very convienent to fuel this lantern. The mantle puts out a lot of light making it great around the campsite or for late night corn hole games at the lake. All around great product and very easy to use."

"This is by far the best lantern on the market. From ease of lighting with the electronic ignition, to the bright north star light, this lantern is worth the extra money. Even the pump system is simple and easy to use. Only problem I have not been able to find a storage case it will fit in."

"I have been using Coleman lanterns since I was a boy, going out at night to catfish. Now it's a camping essential. I'm old fashioned, so I have stuck with the gas fuel lanterns, just never had it in me to switch to propane bottles after so many years. Great product, just be careful on the initial light up. It takes awhile for the gas vapor to start flowing through. Keep your face turned away during the ignition."

"With the metal globe protector and matchless ignition this is the best and brightest latern from Coleman yet ! After much research on dual fuel laterns and shopping from Ebay to discount internet stores, Bass Pro shop's price was good enough for me.
