"I have two of these combos OM4000 with the 7'6" rod. Great sensitivity with plenty of back bone. I bought the first one for my daughter and the second for a boat rod."

"I love this rod & reel combo and they have performed great for me this last year. I use them to troll or drift for flounder in the bay. I have had no problems and clean-up & care has been a breeze. I will be buying 2 more this spring."

excellent combo,August 7, 2007

"best combo for the price, I use this combo for catfishing (and jigging) in lake amistad and i have not had one birds'nest since ive started using it (about two years). i have it rigged with 65 lb. spiderwire stealth and i can easily cast it about 30 yards with up to a 1lb. of bait. The only thing i think needs to be changed is the clicker on the reel, they need to make it a little louder. the rod is light and braided line is smooth on the retrieve due to the ceramic guides. I will definately buy at least 4 more in the future."
